Up for auction is a rare Heathkit TT-1 tube tester. The unit comes complete with the user manual. As well as the original construction manual. Overall, the unit is in great physical condition. The faceplate sparkles with hardly a scratch on it! The outer case is somewhat faded, but the cloth is intact with the exception of on tear(see photos below) Some of the metal hardware has a little rust, but nothing too serious. I actually owned a TT-1 a few years back. And loved it. It's a great tube tester for someone who tests common audio tubes(6L6, 6V6, EL34, EL84, 12AX7, 6SN7, etc) The unit powered right up as the previous owner said it would, however, some of the knobs were very stiff, and a few would not turn at all. They will need to be cleaned and lubricated before the tester can be used. Sencore Mutual Conductance tube tester
This is a used Sencore Mutual Conductance MU150 Continental II tube tester. It is in like new condition. It appears to have been used very little. I tested a known bad 6SN7GTA on the EM setting and it appears to be right on. I then checked a known good used 6V6GTA as shown in pictures. Checked EM. Grid leakage, and Mutual Conductance. Appears to be right on. You need to assume it to be uncalibrated. The overall condition of the case is nice. The metal has some minor rust around the latches. There is a round metal piece missing on top of one of the knobs. Due to age and not being a technician bid accordingly. No returns. It weighs 22lbs. Any overage on postage will be refunded.

This auction includes a Hickok made Western Electric model KS-15559-L1 vacuum tube tester. I recently picked this tester up at an estate sale along with a few other vintage electronic items. I have not personally used this tester myself but was told by the previous owner that he had used it approximately 3-years ago and that it was working at that time. After purchasing it. I brought it home, plugged it in, and was able to adjust the line voltage properly. I have not done any additional testing beyond this and therefore, I am selling this item in as-is, untested, used condition. Vintage 1950's Superior Tube Tester Model TV-11 Upgraded Ham Radio Works Fine
SquareTrade © AP6.0 This is a 1950's Superior Instruments Co. Tube Tester. Model TV-11. It is an emissions tester and as emission tester go, this one performs well. I compared results of about 20 different numbered and styles of tubes with two other emission testers. In all cases, all tested the same tubes as"good" or all the same tube as"bad" This tester was developed in the 50's with the radio repairman, experimenter and radio amateur(ham) in mind as a"good-bad" tester. Easy to use and easy on the wallet. If you are looking for a tube tester to test the 20's antique radio tubes. This one is not for you. The built-in tube chart covers tubes from the mid-late 30's radios, military 4 number tubes, 40's and 50's radio tubes(AA5's) and the then new sub-minature CK series tubes. The ... moreroll chart has a 1954 date as the last entry and with only one thumb wheel turning the roll, the paper is fairly tight. The electronics were gone through and capacitors were upgraded. A new line adjust variable pot. was installed as well as a few resistors. All solder joints were inspected and resoldered if necessary and all sockets checked for pin tightness. All contacts on the large paddle switch were chemically cleaned and all moving parts lubricated. There is also enclosed a copy of the operating manual. With pictures that walks through all the test procedures and a schematic. Shown in photo#2 is a 6F6 octal tube being tester. You can compare photo#3 off the chart to see how the toggle paddle switches are placed. The tester is housed in an sturdy oak wood cabinet with carrying handle. The cabinet has signs of use but nothing that couldn't be re-finished if you desire to use this as a collectible. Overall this is a nice performing tube tester. If you restore radios. Here is a Sencore TC162 Mighty Mite tube tester that is in very good working condition. It is a nice little portable unit with plenty of functions. I checked the inner electronics for signs of rust or water damage and there is none. All the electronics are super clean. I t comes with its tube manual permanently mounted in the cover. The knob on the right is not original but it fits and works perfectly. The strength of this tester is the ability to rapidly test a bunch of tubes. I replaced all the electrolytic caps with modern units of the same value along with a NOS 6BN8 tube and cleaned all the controls. The previous owner had replaced the 83 rectifier with silicon diodes. And this is acceptable with this model. I did replace them with current production for safety. A few sockets had also been previously replaced as they do wear out. The line cord was a spliced disaster so I installed a new one. I tested it with a variety of tubes using both upper and lower banks. But I did not test all sockets. It was close to my Hickock 6000A in readings so I didn’t mess with the calibration. The owner’s manual gives calibration instructions if it is ever needed, and I will include a PDF of the manual on CD. I noticed in the pictures that the bottom ... morescrew was missing, and I replaced the original screw that I left out when I serviced the tester. Guaranteed for a full refund on return if not as described. And I must be notified within 3 days of receipt. I have checked the two tubes 83 and 5Y3, check good. The only thing I could find was some of the test switches on the right side could use some dexoit, as I would have to push them a few times to get readings. You are bidding on a Dyna-Quik Model 700 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester with Manual. I have tested 4 tubes on this tester(6SN7.5V4, 12BY7, 6L6) Those are sockets 25,33,9, and 29. I have not tested the rest of this unit with the exception of number 8 which I found was not working when I tried to test a 12ax7. I replaced two tubes in this tester a#83 and a 6BN8. The tester works as seen in the pictures with a 6SN7 tube. The circuit transfer works on this unit as well. The gauge is faded on the replaced(not good tube side) but is still functional. Up for sale here is a rare and fully working L3-3 TUBE TESTER from 1974. These russian made tube testers are considered amoungst the best and most reliable tube testers ever made. High precision, mil spec technology, top class manufacturing. The L3-3 was reportedly part of the test equipment used on the Russian MIG military aircraft. This particular tester is from 1974. Serviced and calibrated recently(April 2013) 100% functional and works with European mains 230vAC(no drop transformer needed) Conditions: Used as you can see in the photo. New mains plug and some parts that needed to be changed. Some of the top panel indications have cancelled out over time, I can apply a sticker or send a photo of what each of the missing indications are. That case, lid and cards are all in excellent conditions, the box is a bit stiff to open and close but ... moreit still does it's job well. In the photo you can see an EL84 tube test. Very nice. Perfectly working B&K 707 tube tester. Comes with tube handbook and original B&K tube chart booklet. Guaranteed to work. Condition is good but this is an older machine so the case definitely has wear and there are going to be some small marks here and there. It's been cleaned but if someone spent some extra effort it would clean up very nice. We are a music shop and have always had repair techs but recently we lost our main guitar amp repair man and this machine has become expendable. It's been at our shop for many.
