This oscilloscope could use a cleaning and get checked out in all modes. Scope works but I don't know how to operate it. This scope operates with a bright trace and plenty of brightness in reserve; no burn spots. All controls/buttons seem to operate normally. But again I do not know how to operate this. Tektronix TPS2012 scope for parts or repair. Does not power up. Includes one battery pack. AC adapter, and compact CD. The problem is the connector for the power supply has been lifted off the mother board and no longer makes connection. Picture 2 shows the power supply in its normal location. Picture 3 shows the power supply removed and the loose connector in its proper position. The last picture shows the connector lifted off the circuit board. Also note the plastic shell on the EXT TRIG BNC connector is broken. This part is available from Tektronix for about $10. Sold as-is with problems limited to these described defects.
