It fits analog 2445B, 2465B, 2467B made after serial# B049999(main photo) with surface mount technology. If you need the earlier version(tek p/n 670-9052-02) that has no SMDs, I can substitute that one for you upon request. Since these boards store calibration fudge factors for your scope, your scope should be recalibrated to re-establish correct fudge factors. If you do not have access to a Tek PG506 and a TG501, you may want to send entire scope to me for this work which falls under my other listing for $600 flat fee fee repair and cal(at only $125 more it is worth it! Typical A5 failure signs are Test 5 failures at startup, jittery display, cursers that don't encompass ... moreentire range of screen, blank screen with LED above"ADD" button lit. Many newer A5 failures are caused by sweating/leakage from electrolytic caps, which can occur even at low usage hours. This is a common defect on many 2400Bs sold used, which is why those seeking a good one should buy theirs from me. Older versions(2nd photo) of this board usually do not experience leakage/sweating failures, just some of the other failures mentioned, including dying Li battery which I routinely replace(photo was taken before Li replacement of Keeper II LTC7P with higher capacity SAFT LS14250) since even if still good at at age 25, its time may run out soon. On the newer versions the Dallas NVRAM has been replaced and its calibration fudge factors will be from a 2465B of mine, which may not have fudge factors for some options your scope may have. If you need any options' fudge factors, please let me know for which options, but again, ideally, fudge factors should be entered by calibrating your scope as a whole. Of the $475 Buy-It-Now price. Great working condition Tektronix TDS 220 DSO 100MHZ Digital Storage Oscilloscope. Passes all self tests and internal calibration. As you may or may not know these models were recalled by Tektronix for a defect. The vertical sticker on the back indicates that this scope had the defect repaired by Tektronix. Excellent accuracy. The second image show a 6V 10KHz signal fed into both channels. Other photos show an NTSC waveform with a closeup of the colorburst signal. LCD screen has a minor scuff thats barely noticeable when turned on(see images) No burn in, traces are sharp. The images show weird shading but the screen is evenly lit. Case shows normal signs of wear. Handle and tilting bale are work perfectly. BNC connectors are solid. All buttons and controls are clean and work smoothly. Tektronix Type 453 dual trace 50 MHz Oscilloscope
Tektronix Type 453 oscilloscope: 50 MHz dual trace scope and compensating probe. Probe is 10 Meg. 7.0 PF, 9.0 FT, 600V. Knobs and switches appear to work although not extensively tested in all combinations. The pictures are of the actual unit. The three wave form pictures were generated using a Heathkit AS10 signal generator. They are a 1.0 MHz. 100KHz and 1kHz square wave(channel A) and sine wave(channel B) The distortion in the square wave results from the quality of the AS10, and the frequency span was limited by the AS10. I have used this scope for more than ten years and am downsizing a little. It is in good cosmetic shape and nothing appears to be missing. The only issue I know of is that the plastic around the feet on the rear is cracked. Also include is a xerox copy of a Type 454 manual. The Type 453 and Type 454 are essentially the ... moresame.
