I charged them by connecting it to the power outlet and the 2 channel were working just fine. But by disconnecting the power the unit switched off due to the weak Battery units. Tektronix TLA 7E1 2Ch 1GHz at 5GS/s Oscilloscope Module This is a working oscilloscope module for your TLA7XX. Note that if it does not work(the mainframe does not recognize it) you simply need to re-flash its’ firmware to whatever version your analyzer is currently running. This module is“way cooler” on later TLA’s such as the 715’s; the look/measurements evolved. The screen update rate will be nowhere near say a TDS680C. What this is nearest too. The last time I had it plugged into something, say 6 months ago it passed all power on self-tests, user initiated self-tests, and self-calibration; worked fine. Insert modules with the bays facing up. Pull out modules with the bays horizontal to minimize stress on the plastic tabs. Those tabs do break, be realistic with force, loosen screws on the other module to aid in ease of insertion. If a ... moremodule is getting errors, try reinserting it, usually works, mainframes that have been dropped can be just out of square and hard to get a module fully seated. I’m also throwing in a TLA 7M4 136 channel module. It says it’s an option 1S(2GHz timing. 200MHz state, 512K) This is an oddball module, the switch on the front panel should not be there. If you flip the switch and cycle power, it can become a 7M3 and so on. Obviously, you likely want to use it as a 7M4. Note the capitol asset sticker, likely a factory test fixture. I’ve read that with the TLA 7NX. Hardware acceleration was added to that module; so if you think your system is too lethargic. I don’t know personally, I find logic analyzers too tedious to bother w/a comparison. One cool thing with the 7E1. If your using one of the new modules that have the bnc’s(7AA4 and others I think) you can hook them up to the 7E1 and view in of the hooked up logic analyzers channels on the 7E1 w/o having to move jumpers, that pretty cool. The front cover doesn't attach properly due to one of the lower lock tab being broken. There are two probes included that store in the front cover. When testing the various knobs, the level button causes sporadic dim display about the half-way mark but restores on both sides through-out the full range of the knob. Tektronix TAS 465 100MHz 2 Channel Oscilloscope w/ Probes and Manuals
A used TAS 465 100 MHz scope in very good operational and tested condition. This is a one owner unit. Heavy duty fan cooled top of the line quality Tektronix workhorse of a scope. Analog scope with digital features. Autoset function and cursor measurement of timing. Frequency, and Voltages. Complete with Instruction manual and quick reference guide. Includes probes complete with"witches hats" hook on probe adapters. Unit has normal wear and tear including some scuffs/ light scratches on the graticule. Right hand side of graticule is slightly darkened. May be some dust inside perhaps on the CRT but does not look like burn in. Small dent on top cover about 1/2" in length. Shown in the photos is the unit with a 110 MHz sine wave input to demonstrate it is operational to the limits of it's specified bandwidth and beyond. TEKTRONIX MALE POWER PANEL PLUG 131-102 500 SERIES OSCILLOSCOPE RARE PART 900
Hard to find but very much needed for scope repair. Older Tektronix scopes have this type of power connector and it gets broken because it sticks out of the chassis. The scope has a large mass so if the connector gets bumped it gets broken very easy. If you need one of these they are very hard to find. I have 10 of them. If you have a scope that has one of these perhaps you should get one for that day in the future that it might happen to your scope. The price is for ONE power connector.
