This auction is for a Tektronix 7834 Storage Oscilloscope Mainframe with 4 plugins included. The unit is configured as a 3 channel laboratory oscilloscope. And has many options available for the 7000 series for a variety of measurement functions. The supplied plugins are a 7A18 75 MHz bandwidth 2-channel vertical amplifier, a 7A15 80 MHz bandwidth 1-channel vertical amplifier, a 7D10 Digital Events Delay, and a 7B53 100 MHz horizontal amplifier. The unit powers on and works fine. In the pictures I show the calibration source split and sent to the three vertical input channels for demonstration purposes. Cosmetically ... morethe unit is in fairly nice shape. No major dents or gouges in the case. It is used, and as such, there are very few light scratches consistent with normal wear and tear, a few marks here and there. The only real cosmetic issue with the unit is on the back it appears to have been hit on the top BNC connector, which is dented in slightly. There is no problem or malfunction of the unit due to this minor problem, and since it's on the back panel, it's not visible during normal operation(see pictures) The other issue is the center"variable" knob on the 7A15 vertical plugin has been broken off, and is missing. The CRT screen is in very nice condition and does not have any visible phosphor burns, and there is a fair amount of reserve brightness. The unit is quite heavy, and the shipping is expensive on this unit. Because I am not a certified calibration laboratory, I can not guarantee the operation of the unit beyond its basic function.
