Tektronix THSXXX Prototype Hand Held Oscilloscope This appears to be a never produced Tektronix Handheld Oscilloscope(THSXXX) Looks like it was going to compete with the fluke 123 Industrial Scopemeter. Now that Fluke and Tek are owned by the same parent company. Tek does not make handheld scopes, fluke does not make oscilloscope. Possibly why this design was dropped. I blotted out the Frank guys last name on the back of the scope. He’s one of Tek’s senior software engineers. If your into test gear, he really is a rock star… Partially functional. Keys are not stenciled, some of the part numbers are definitely non-production Tektronix. The firmware is incomplete, so some functions do nothing. Some of the keys need to be reworked. The battery pack held 6 sub-c batteries. When put together the small pc board on the backside picture of the scope ... moreactually fits in the battery pack. When the pack is placed in the scope that pc board plugs into the scope. So if the scope does not power on with the power cord provided(see pics) The pc board has simply slipped out of its’ receptacle. Looks like the power supply is a standard 5mm jack. It does in fact work as an oscilloscope and dmm. But the design/firmware is not 100% CH-1 bnc is damaged but works fine. This item will be shipped UPS Ground to the lower 48 and insured for the sale amount plus the shipping fee quoted. $20. No international sales. It will be well packaged. For what it is worth. I typically loose money on shipping. It is not inexpensive to package test gear to survive transit. I have a full time job. I try to ship the following business day or two but that does not always happen. Especially if you purchased after I last looked at ebay for the day. Tektronix 2215A Oscilloscope Excellent Closet Find with P6121
This may be one of the cleanest Tek 2215A oscilloscopes around. It was in the posession of a sales guy who used it only for trade shows. He passed suddenly after a massive heart attack and his family attempted to return it to the company. It sat in a closet for years until they finally disposed of everything. It has been used very few hours and is super clean. There is one little 1/8" scratch on top that I may have inflicted. I tested it using Tektronix standard test equipment including calibration generators and time mark generators. I am not a"cal" lab but I am an Air Force and Navy trained PMEL techinician/Metrology Engineer. My equipment is frequently compared to calibrated standards and all frequencies are referenced to my own Rubidium frequency standard. The verification of the scopes parameters is shown in the pix.
