Using the veroboard layout on the Guitar FX Layouts site(certainly one of the best sites on the web) I made a Jack Orman AMZ Mini-Boost pedal in the best enclosure on hand at the time- a defunct digital clock. I'm not sure the plastic housing would stand up to months of touring, but I've used it for a month or so and it's pretty solid. Here's a quick and sloppy demo. I started with single coil to show that the non-metallic enclosure does not make hum a problem, then ended with bridge humbucker for more gain. Takes a 9V battery only(included) does not have a power supply jack. On the bright side. It doesn't draw much current(so the battery will last a while) and the clock housing has a convenient built-in battery compartment.
