Passes power on and all user initiated self tests. Consistently passes the critical Signal Path Compensation routine(SPC) w/o exception. Running latest scope firmware V2.5.3 with out issue. Has a win98 sticker on the back but is in fact running Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 3. Radisys.SF810” 566 mhz celeron, 256 megabytes, and a 6 gig hd. Front panel controls/leds are all correctly functioning. The on/off switch works but the led does ... morenot always light. Lightly touch it to light; this part is a high failure rate part, be nice too it. Floppy. Hard drive, and touch screen all work. The touch screen does have a couple of minor blemishes that can’t be seen in use. Overall this scope is in very nice condition, the only thing that seems to be wrong about it is the serial number. It has a minor ding at the upper left corner of the front bezel that might actually be a casting flaw(pictured) Keyboard and mouse not included but recommended(I like the ACK-540) Only the scope and a front cover are included with this sale. No accessories are included. Even if pictured. I’ve included a couple of pictures. But most are screen dumps to the floppy drive with the print button. Pay careful attention to the displays on screen information to get a better feel for the signals applied. I show a fast rise time signal of about 184 ps applied to all for channels with a 4 way power divider. To show input response. Next I applied a 100 mVrms to all four channels at 10 MHz. TEK 2430 is a DSO from the repairable era(circa 1987. Made same time as 2445A, 2465A, 2467) and cost over $6000 new. It is the predecessor of the 2430A. The predecessor of the the 2430 was the 468. Serial# is B012710. 1st photo shows a 1Vpp positive going 1KHz squarewave signal into CH1. 2nd photo shows it stores(cord is removed) 3rd photo shows that a signal can be stored just at the instant cord is removed. 4th photo shows same signal into CH2. 5th signal shows a 1KHz signal from a time mark generator. 6th photo shows self tests pass(doesn't prove everything is fine) 7th photo is of rear. 8th photo is of bottom. 9th photo is of left side. 10th photo is of right side. Textronix T912 10 MHZ DIGITAL Storage Dual CHANNEL OSCILLOSCOPE This oscilloscope is marked Textronix T912. It is in very good cosmetic and tested working condition. I powered this unit up and everything seems to being working properly. The only thing i see wrong is the Volts/DIV control may need replaced. You feel it catching when you turn it. All the other knobs and buttons move freely without binding or catching. The view screen lights up and shows different lines of testing. I believe this unit works properly. There are No cables or probes with this unit. As always i guarantee this unit is working or return it for refund. Up for sale is a Tektronix TDS754C Digital Oscilloscope. If you are looking at this item you already know what it is and does. I am by no means an expert in electronics or electronic equipment. I purchased this at an auction at work and was hoping to use it on some micro controller projects. Truth is that it's way too complicated for the simple things that I am doing. I went through the tutorial in the manual. It appears that channel 1 of the 4 available channels on the front does not work. It's the only one of the channels that when you insert a probe states something about a calibration being available so it may be as simple as overwriting that; I'm not sure. It may be something that is easily fixed or it could be a faulty channel. If there is something that you would like to me try before buying then guide me and I will be ... moreglad to check that. The screenshots are from a tutorial in the manual that uses the built in 1kHz +/ 500mV signal. I was able to get that to work well on channels 2-4. It will do all kinds of measurements on the signals. I've seen other 754C's on eBay listing out all of the options. I'm not sure which options this comes with. If you know of a way for me to check that I will be glad to do so. The unit comes with the Scope. 6 P6139A Tektronix probes. One of them is labelled that it does not work but I did not test it. If it's critical for purchase I will be glad to go through the tutorial again with this particular probe. There are a couple of bags of items that look like accessories for these probes(colored rings, micro probes, etc. The unit also comes with a manual. There is a calibration certificate in the material that states it was calibrated back in 2005 so it is due for one if that's a requirement for you to use it. Being an electrical test component. This 2 GSa/s. 500 MHz, 4 channel color digital oscilloscope is in great condition and comes with one 10430A 10:1 500 MHz probe. I have replaced the Lithium battery and the CRT. I have calibrated the unit. It passes all self tests. I have completely tested the four front end attenuator preamps and they are all working to specs. You get great full bandwidth on 4 channels 2 GSa/s simultaneously on a single trigger. Floppies with the telcom masks are included. Hardcopy is possible using the floppy drive.
