Hi. This is Don. If you have one of the old brown Emerson fans and it will not run. This might be why. My old fan would hum and would try to run if I spun the blades. I researched a value for the cap and come up with this one. Ran my fan all last summer, and this cap works great. The old cap was a big square metal can, this one is very small, but it is correct. Will work for the 12 or 16" fan. I believe this cap brought the rpm range down for much more suitable speeds as well. I'm certain you will like this cap, if you need more than one, let me know. Rare early 1st Production pre bumblebee Sprague .01 MF 300 v paper wax capacitor
Offered here is a rare and early first production runs pre bumblebee. Circa 1936 vintage Sprague.03 MF 300 VDC paper wax capacitor. Note the small lightning bolt pattern with Sprague printed inside of it. This is probably the first style Sprague capacitor they produced. This came out of an original 1936 radio chassis. So I imagine its from the same year. What a shame I can't find another to pair it up with. This will make a great conversation piece if you put it in your old Gibson or Fender. Rather than a bumblebee. length is about 1 1/4 inches. Add that unique tone to your Fender. Gibson, crossover, or tube amp! This shows measured capacitance of.014 MF on a LCR meter. The'SONIQS' SAX capacitors are wound using a 10µm(630Vdc rated) polypropylene film and then sealed in resin. Following a special heat treatment cycle, insulated copper terminals are hand soldered to give the best possible connection. The inherently low dissipation and dielectric absorption factors of polypropylene allied with an excellent mechanical stability results in an extremely detailed sonic performance. The construction also results in a low self-inductance and ESR and the devices are highly stable with regard to temperature and frequency. If you want to upgrade your amplifier or preamplifier this is the way to do it!

This listing is for a Ruby laser assembly. These units were used in the M60 tank as rangefinders. Typical q-switched output power at 694nm is 50mJ. The Deep red portion of the visible spectrum. The reflector pictured is in excellent condition. It is a quirk with the camera showing it tarnished looking. The laser head consists of. HR prism, 1/4"X3" RUBY rod,EG&G FX-103C-3 flash-lamp, Elliptical reflection cavity.Steering prism,Rotating q-switch prism,Magnetic position sensor, Temperature monitor thermistor.Output coupler and the Collimation telescope. I have had many of these over the years and this one is in the best condition Ive seen yet. Very clean new like condition. Also included is the original PFN. The insulation has been removed and the capacitors have been replaced. Also included is a nice 115uF energy storage capacitor ... morerated at 2.3KV more than enough to power the flash. Original spec'd is 90uF 1200V. Also included is the mating connector for the 11 pin interface. I will include a wiring diagram and examples on how to hook this up. I have hooked this up with the components offered as pictured and the flash works flawlessly. The laser head is out of alignment and will need to be aligned by the new owner. Ruby lasers are quite interesting and if this does not sell. I might just keep it and do it up real nice. I see Midwest currently is offering one at 895.00. As used in th Top Boost circuit of a Vox AC30. Again these SRC Mica 500pf capacitors alone are the values that Metro Amplifiers recommends stock ... moreon their Lead Channel pot or bright cap. Also two 500pf can also be used in the tone stack of a Marshall. One for the bright mixer cap and one in the tone stack. This set will allow you to complete a Marshall 50 watt or 100 watt JTM45 or pre-post Plexi as well as a Vox AC30 amplifier. if it's restoration on a vintage amplifier. Or a one of a kind newer build. Marshall and Vox in the 60's and 70's used a variety of capacitors like R.S. Lemco and SRC.
