Mundorf Silver in Oil capacitor 1.0 uf pair Coupling capacitor - Crossover
Up for sale is a pair of Mundorf silver in oil capacitors. I used them in a speaker project with a set of Ribbon Tweeters I have in another listing. They were used lightly and are probably not even broken in yet. Some web sites are claiming up to 1000 hours to break in. Very nice sounding. I changed to a bigger tweeter and teflon capacitors. Getting rid of some of my inventory.

This is a really cool homebrew tuner using a roller inductor and large variable capacitor. The roller inductance is 20uh. And the cap is 350 pf, measured on a B&K digital LCR meter. From the values, it looks like a tuner for 160 meters, but with those values, it could work on other bands as well. I used something similar to this with smaller components to load my 160 meter inverted L. It looks like it came from a smokers environment and needs a good nicotine cleaning. For auction is one pair of Vintage.022 uf Sprague Bumblebee Capacitor Pulls. These measure.022 and.023 uf at low voltages using my DMM. They are the same size but one has a yellow band for voltage indicating a 400v cap. The other has a red band indicating a 200v cap. The other bands on both caps read red-red-orange-black: 022 20% tolerance. These are great as tone capacitors in humbucker-equipped guitars.
