I had this on a table with a Hypertherm 65. So it has the CPC port attached to the DTHC card. Everything worked when I broke down the table and boxed it up. I fired up the computer and everything worked fine. This includes a dell computer with Monitor. Mouse and keyboard(Pentium 4 2.8 with 4 gigs ram Win XP) The controller is basically the UBOB on Plus power supply all cable. Wires and software needed. The computer has MACH 3 and Sheetcam TNG installed with the licenses as well as a newer mach 3 license disc. Everything works and was taken apart just like it came off the table. We got this from the spare parts crib at a very technically elaborate and well maintained candle factory. It was a spare part for a“lid puncher head” The motor is a Lin Engineering model 8618M-02-03 unipolar 8 wire stepper motor with a 1.8 degree step rated at 4 amps. 24 VDC or 100 watts. The Anaheim controller will deliver ½ step or full step control with all the usual bells and whistles. It’s so simple a junk dealer can make it work. Just connect the motor. Supply 24 VDC or VAC, and supply a pulse stream to an input pin. I just hooked a wire to the input and tapped it to ground rapidly resulting in a 1.8 degree rotation per tap. Any simple pulse stream generator will do. The Anaheim can also be configured to allow a microprocessor to directly fire each phase. That’s a bit beyond junk dealer 101.
