This is a Wantai DQ542MA stepper motor driver capable of driving a stepper motor up to 4.2A at 50V. More information can be found here: This driver will only turn the motor in one direction. The DIR input does not work correctly. I tried to open the driver and locate the problem. But I cannot find anything obvious. The driver will correctly drive a motor, but only in one direction since the direction input does not work. Therefore, this item is being sold as is. I used this driver on my small CNC milling machine before the direction input stopped working.

I have motion tested this driver with Mach3 CNC software to insure that the driver electronics is working and moves a motor smoothly both forward and backward in 1P mode. But I did not test any of the other functions of the unit and so it is being sold AS-IS. Please do your own due diligence to insure that this item is appropriate for your needs.
