This starter is unused. But not in the original box. The boxes were dirty, had paint overspray on them and overall were in poor shape. The starters inside were in plastic and look fine. They are mounted on a white enameled back-plate like you would use for a Hoffman panel. I am not sure if this is standard for this type starter or not. If it doesn’t work for you, you can remove the 6 screws that hold the plate on and then mount it by using its own back-plate. Also included are a couple pieces of literature which we never got in the picture. Overall, the starter in this offering appears to be in fine shape. We checked about everything you could check without putting it under load and everything appears normal. In this listing you are bidding on an unused Size 3. Square D Reversing Motor Starter. It is a Class 8736, Type SEO-2, Form S. Series ... moreA. It is rated at 30HP/230VAC or 50HP/460VAC. It will use Type CC Thermal Overloads which are not included with this starter. We did install heaters to make sure that they all tripped and reset manually. They worked fine and the heaters were removed. There are(3) auxiliary contact blocks. The literature included are drawings for power and control wiring as well as a double sided sheet showing an assembly drawing and information as generally seen on a service bulletin. It has a thermal overload relay that uses three Type A overload heaters. Heaters are not included. This is an open type starter without an enclosure. It mounts with two screws through the base plate.
