Up for auction is an excellent used condition bit by Herm Sprenger in a size 5 1/2. It is the Dynamic RS WH Ultra D-Ring snaffle bit. It has only been used for about 5-6 months and shows minimal signs of wear. In my opinion this is one of the nicest bits you can buy. I used it on my Hanoverian who did both third level dressage and jumped 3' in it. The bit is also legal for all rated dressage shows. I've used this bit on a number of different horses all at different levels of training. And every single one has felt great in this bit! I wish I didn't have to sell it but unfortunately I need some money to pay for my horse's vet bills. Dynamic bits have ergonomically formed mouthpieces which lie perfectly in the horse's mouth. Soft and even pressure is exerted on the entire tongue area. Encouraging the horse to chew. The gentle ... morejoint in the middle which is angled forward makes it a very friendly bit. The WH Ultra developed by Lisa Wilcox and Ernst Hoyos together with Sprenger is a double-jointed bit which is angled by 45 degrees that features a unique roller in the center section. Both pieces retain some of their original shine but do have signs of longer term wear. When connected, there is a slight bend in the middle that has no impact on the tight connection between the pieces. The valves work are tight but easily adjusted. The body/holder has a few nicks and marks but is otherwise fine. The torch head has some grease residue on tip holder but its valve and handle work well. Stephen’s Climber’ was handcrafted in his blacksmith shop and formed the genesis of entire product lines serving linemen and arborists. In 1913. W.H Buckingham purchased the firm and changed the name Stephens Company to what is now known as Buckingham Manufacturing Co. Inc.
