Overview
Since 1992, Dave Brown Outfitters has been guiding fly fishers on The Bow River and The Elk River,plus numerous other rivers in southeastern British Columbia and southern Alberta. Based out of Calgary Alberta and Fernie, British Columbia, Dave and his team of guides are keen to show visiting anglers some outstanding Rocky Mountain trout fishing without any crowds. Anglers have the opportunity to fly fish a variety of rivers for a number of species including brown, bull, cutthroat, and rainbow trout.

Our Season starts June 15 and runs to Oct 15.

WHAT IS PROVIDED TO CUSTOMER
All equipment is provided for your trip: rods, reels, flies, instruction, and images from the trip. Most requests for waders and boots are fulfilled unless we do not have your size.

REGION/TERRAIN WHERE YOU FISH
The rivers in the area range from very large and medium-sized floatable rivers to small walk-and-wade creeks. Floats trips are conducted via drift boats, jet boats, and rafts, while walk-and-wade creeks are accessed by driving to and hiking in the drainage.
