There have been other horns however that were widely popular and continue to still be in high demand even today that were similarly nickel plated like this Tempo. There is no serious damage at all. While the horn shows signs of repairs over the years. The bell has never been seriously damaged or anything along those lines. This horn does have a great sound. It slots well. And the articulation is very nice. This would be a superb horn for use in large ensembles, or big band situations. This is a King Tempo Trumpet. Serial number 410696, made in Cleveland Ohio by the H.N White Company in 1965 or 1966. The horn is really cool looking, with both silver and brass lacquer parts. Most of the trumpet is silver, but the slides and valve caps are brass, which looks really sharp, and will stand out in any band. The horn plays great, and all the valves and slides move easily. The instrument is used, and has some wear marks, scratches, and pitting, but nothing major. I tried to include the worst marks in the pictures. There are no dents on the trumpet. Also included is a brand new case worth $39.99. And a brand new mouthpiece worth $19.99. The trumpet has been cleaned and sterilized, so you should be ready to go as soon as it arrives. Zipp 440 28-spoke tubular front wheel Conti Tempo tire for velodrome or road
This is an early generation Zipp 440 wheel with 28 bladed spokes laced radially to a Zipp carbon bodied hub. A titanium track skewer with a 6mm nut is included. Though this could easily be replaced by you with a quick release if you wished to use this as a road wheel. I have never used it on the road and so the brake track is unused and perfect. A Continental 19mm Tempo tire is attached with FasTack; the tire is in good shape with plenty of the file tread left, and this wheel has been stored in a cool dry place. Nevertheless, I make no claims about the current state of the glue job, and I take no responsibility for the glue job if you decide to use the wheel and tire as is. If you decide to use the tire, I strongly recommend regluing it as glue can degrade with time. Zipp has made advances to their wheel since this was introduced. So this ... moreis no longer the lightest or fastest wheel on the market. But those improvements have been incremental, and this is still a very light, very aero wheel. It is also very strong and perfectly true, and I have never needed to true it even a little bit since I purchased it from Zipp. It is a very well made wheel. I acquired this wheel primarily for sprint events on the track, which is why it has 28 spokes(the highest count that they offered) but it is suitable for any track event and would work just fine on the road, too. This wheel has only been lightly used and has never been crashed, dropped, or abused in any way. It is a great wheel and I am only getting rid of it because I am done with racing.

1986 Schwinn Tempo. Beautiful 2 tone Pearl White/Gray color. Frame is made on Columbus Tenax tubing. I worked at a bicycle shop in high school and bought this for myself when I graduated H.S. I rode it for the summer. Then it sat for a good portion of the time. Everything is original except for the rear tire and the handlebar tape. I think I might have put a better seat on it too. I added the"High Tech" for the day Paramount cycling computer which has a speedometer/odometer/and stopwatch on it. IT STILL WORKS! There are a couple of nicks on the downtube by the shifters as shown in the pictures. Here are some of the components: Dia Compe brakes, Shimano shifters and derailuers, Weinmann rims(700c) Sungino cranks, S. Marco Supercorse Concor seat. All the bearings seem fine, no binding. Or a backup for a trumpet player that wants to join the big kids in the trombone section without laying out a ton of money. The serial number of 391768 on the slide of the Tempo dates it to the early 1960's, and was made by H.N. White in Cleveland. The valve section is from a 2B(NOT a Tempo or other student horn) and has S/N of 528240 which I believe is from the mid-1970's. This rig also includes a RARE King brown"coffin case" setup for a slide and valve combo. King H.N. White Tempo nickel bell(1960's) King H.N. Playability To be honest I didn't expect much from this rig. Frankly the slide section is pretty much junk. I was pleasantly surprised. Though, that with the valve section this horn comes alive, much more than with the original Tempo slide. Upper register is nice and clear and easy to play, I was able to crank out double high G's and Ab's fairly easily. The valves work properly and seal well. They all move fast and smoothly, although#3 you can feel a slight scratchiness, but there is no drag. It's probably just dirty, this has been sitting in the back room for over 10 years with no attention and shows dirt and corrosion in the valve section and tubing(which is the condition I received it) It needs to be professionally cleaned for sure. There is some tarnish spot and scratches throughout! This is not the queen of the ball. But she'll still turn some heads! The horns needs a tune up. it plays but needs the valve guide on the third adjusted. Also the second valve could use a little alignment. So some minor tweaking is in order to get it perfect. So I'm discounting this beauty a little($50) The bell area is nice and straight. The inside of the bell looks awesome! These are free blowing- very responsive. I have inspected the valves. no plate loss. Nickel silver instruments produce a brighter tone than brass horns. They're great for lead work. 1986 Vintage Schwinn Tempo Steel Road Bike 23 inch (58.5 cm) Fully Restored
Up for auction is a nicely restored 1986 Schwinn Tempo. Columbus Tenax tubing, size 23-inch seat tube(center to top) It has an original Shimano 105 group set. I will describe this item in detail: Restoration: This bike came to me from its original owner. Although there was very little rust. The paint job was not in good shape. One of the pictures shows the bike in its original condition. The bike was completely disassembled and then professionally powder-coated in September 2012. The new color is a deep blue with metallic specks to make it sparkle in the sunlight. It is very beautiful and has received many compliments. The original components were cleaned and re installed. The brake calipers were cleaned and rebuild and the brake hoods were replaced with new Shimano aero hoods. Wheels: The original wheelset was completely disassembled. Cleaned ... moreand rebuilt. The hubs were cleaned and re-greased. The braking surface of the rims was lightly sanded with 400-grit paper. The wheels were rebuilt with new alloy 16mm nipples. One of the silver spokes was replaced with a black one, and a few of the nipples are red, not silver. The rims unfortunately have a few minor dents along the edges but they do not affect the ride quality(you’re riding the tires, not the rims) Also, because the rims were previously used, they could not be rebuilt perfectly true. The front wheel is true, while the back is very close. They ride fine however, and I tested this bike with three separate rides totaling 80 miles without issue. The wheelset also built up fairly light and weighs approximately 1,600 grams. Size& Geometry: The seat tube is 23 inches(58.5cm) from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the tube. The top tube measures 56cm across. Center to center. I do not know the head tube or seat tube angles, but the feel of the bike is racy and the angles are probably on the steep side. The maximum saddle height using the Laprade seatpost is 76cm from the bottom bracket. FYI, If you need a longer seatpost, it is a size 26.6. I am

Pope Gosser TEMPO Black& White Abstract Shakers This is an elegent retro pair of vintage American Salt and Pepper Shakers(S&P) made by the Pope Gosser China Company in their" Tempo" pattern. 8001, circa 1950s. The stylized pattern features abstract swirls in black and grey on a creamy white background with silver platinum trim around the top. One shaker has 4 pour holes on top and the other has 3 holes. The sleek shape is classic Mid-Century Modern. Atomic Era, or Eames Era- but right at home with today's style. Each antique shaker is 4.5" tall and in good condition. With no cracks. Both shakers have one tiny pinhead-sized nick(less than 1/16" on the bottom edge, and one shaker has a very very faint shadow stain rising about 1/4" up from the base.
