This is a vintage 40's telephone lineman tester from West Test Set. Automatic Electric Co. Chicago, ILL. The clip on test cords are fabric wrapped as well as the head phone cord. The stiching on the sides has come loose& needs to be restiched. The leather case it's self is still plyable& not dried out. It looks like an oblong plate of some sort is missing on the lid by the strap where you can see the outline& 2 holes. This came from an estate sale of a retired phone worker.

This is a precision fuel product line tester designed and made by heath consultants. This precision tester is approx 25 yrs old and is still very functional. But needs new hoses because the ones on it have become stiff. The glass shield for the pressure gage is missing, and as can be seen in the pics one of the latches that holds the cabinet closed is broken. It may need a few"0" rings.We used it quite often for years but most newer stores that sell gas and diesel have built-in computerized line and tank testing equipment,but there are many that don't.
