You are bidding on a vintage battery and tube tester made by Precision Appartus company inc. It is a model number 612 and serial number 2826. The gauge screen so not cracked and is in good shape. The whole tester in incased in a wooden box. The box is missing the top of it. It appears that all of the knobs are in tact and they all function properly. All of the wiring for this tester seems to be in tact. But I have not plugged it in due to safety reasons. This is a very nice comb-bound reprint of the instruction manual for the Hickok 600 tube tester AND MUCH MORE. There are now 85 pages in this book. I got the original from a retired Army Signal Corps officer. He spent the last 40 years compiling this information. The first section(11 pages) is the regular operator's manual including several pages of data for testing ballast tubes. Calibration instructions, and a big 11x17" fold-out schematic. I have added 8 pages of calibration& maintenance info contributed by friends. The next section is a copy of the roll chart for the 532-533-533DM-534-534A-534B-600 testers. Code Number 3200-44 dated 11-1-1961(23 pages) This will save a lot of wear& tear ... moreon your roll chart. Hickok data supplements included: Bulletin T-101 dated 9-11-1950(1 page) covers 27 sub-miniature tubes. Bulletin T-103 dated 11-15-1950(2 pages) covers about 60"Obsolete" tubes not included on the roll chart. Most are two digit. Bulletin T-123 dated 10-01=1954(1 page) covers 29 tubes not included in the roll chart. Bulletin T-127 dated 9-15-1955(1 page) covers 32 tubes. Added Information(38 pages) Next are three pages of American to Foreign and Foreign to American charts. Next is an amazing 4 page section where he actually created correct test data for tubes that Hickok never provided data for. Next is a 2 page section of test data for electron ray(Eye) tubes that shows how to give them a more complete test than the regular chart does. Both of these sections he created were done for the 800A. So the switch positions are correct but for some tubes the bias settings may vary a bit on the 600.
