Its size is 13 3/4" Tall& 6 1/4" Wide. Its features the slogan at the Top(Blue Curved Crown) then it has- Royal Crown- Cola. Then it has the Thermometer that has the top number 120. For the(one) in the number range 120 at the top is the high temperature, then there is a-0- the number range 60 at the bottom is the lowest temperature and the at the bottom of the thermometer the number is 60. Then at the bottom the slogan it has- the fresher refresher. The sign has the original 4 holes in the corners that was for putting up ... morethe thermometer on a wall. The sign is in good condition- temperature gauge works right. The sign does show nicks, scuffs& rust on its sides. The sign really is not faded out- like it was put in the shade where the sun did not fade it, so again it is in good condition for its age as seen in pictures so please look at all of them. Up for auction is one older style hanging metal thermometer generally described as follows. Marked: PACKARD MOTOR CARS" ASK THE MAN WHO OWN'S ONE" MADE IN U.S.A. This thermometer is enamel painted on steel. Temperature increments from minus 30 degrees through Zero to 120 degrees fahrenheit. For your consideration is a antique thermometer in a unique looking coffin case. It is a surface thermometer. Place anywhere on the skin for temperature taking. The interior of case is lined in purple velvet on bottom and red satin on top. Outside is dark brown pressed vinyl or leather. One hinge is broken as well as the bulb on end of thermometer. This is certainly an unusual piece. Thermometer reads(Escelsior- A30 Secondes Garanti 320F) and has a hard black plastic cupped piece that can slide on and tighten to the glass thermometer. Some light scratches due to age. On back side there is some water damage to the fiber board backing, however it is still intact. This sign would be a great addition to your vintage sign collection. Antique ARCO TEMPERATURE REGULATOR w/ Clock & Alarm Thermostat Thermometer
This antique thermostat is 8 5/8" tall. 2 1/2" wide and 2 5/8" deep. It has"2-5-26 13755-S" etched on the back of the clock. It is complete and everything is original with the exception of the 4 screws holding the front cover on. I'm pret ty sure they didn't use phillips screws back then. The alarm works. But the knobs for time set and winding are missing. I used needle nose to turn them once to see if it would wind. It does wind, but I didn't keep doing it for fear of messing something up. It probably needs to be cleaned and oiled. The thermometer works. Please use the zoom feature to check the condition. Really nice condition for it's age. Has never been hung outside. 27" long by 7 1/4" wide. Marked REG.U.S.PAT.OFF. and M-32-1 on the bottom. Has Lady in cap Sipping long Straw which is the Thermometer from Pepsi Bottle. Bottle says Made Only By Pepsi-Cola company. Long Island City, N.Y. Thermometer works. Flaws noted are: Chipped paint on bottom on P of Pepsi, Scratched aroud the chip and spot of tan paint to the left of that(see photo) 3 or 4 chips on body, not really noticeable, a small dent in the right side midbody bottom edge, see photo.
