From the estate of a New Hampshire clock and watch repairman is this Sperry& Shaw steeple clock for repair. The case is 21" tall with a 4 x 11" base. The door has a 6 x 6" reverse painted glass with strawberries. Round hinges and brass turning door lock. The inside label says Sperry& Shaw No. 10 Courtland St. New York. Found with it were a restored and cleaned Waterbury Clock movement. The frame is 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 x 1 1/4" deep marked Waterbury Clock Company. Pat'd Sept 22, 1874. It also comes with a gong spring. We continue offering items from a consignment that have been in a Southwestern New Hampshire family for years. As we have now discovered back into the first half of the 19th century. My consignor explains; To the best of my knowledge my family were primarily farmers in Dublin. NH. There were several generations living on the farms at the same time. Farm income was supplemented by various means. Hiriam Carey was the Dublin carriage driver for Mark Twain and my Grandmother was a seamstress who also made costumes for the likes of Amelia Earhart and Joseph Linden Smith during their stays in Dublin. Though there may not have been a lot of money to purchase luxuries' or non essential items sometimes the family was given small things for either payment or in appreciation. Things were acquired to use not look at and things were handed down from ... moregeneration to generation. My family interacted with Dublin summer people through odd jobs and the piano playing of both my mother and grandmother. We have early sheet music from the days when the ladies played for summer theatre shows. My mother and grandmother were founders of a local button club and since my grandmother was a seamstress who made costumes for the Dublin Art Colony plays many of their special collected buttons were remnants of other peoples' purchases. My father worked for as a window clerk at the Keene Post Office selling stamps for many years. He was able to buy mint stamps and after marketing promotions for newly released stamps were long over he was given permission to take home the now obsolete promotional material. Here we have a matchbook sized kit designed to repair stockings which is also an advertising piece for Wonder Bread with a copyright date of 1954. Adhesive on sticks is moistened and applied to both ends of run. This kit is in good condition with just a bit of light soiling. As always. Description: Up for grabs is a lot of 2 Coleman Powermate Halogen Spotlights. These are kind of a shot in the dark.I purchased both of these at a garage sale and assumed they were battery powered. When I got home and went to test them out. I realized they are rechargeable and need a charger. I never ended up buying the charger, so I'm unsure if either one of these work. To be safe, I am selling them for parts/repair. They are in good shape cosmetically and the filaments appear to be intact on the halogen bulbs(see pic 5,6) so they may work once they are charged, but again, I can not guarantee any this, Im just offering my honest opinion. Antique Vintage Quilt top browns for repair salvage 79"x 79
Early antique 1880's vintage quilt top hand sewn. check out the great fabric a conversation print of a horse head! Size is.79" x 79" approx. with the block size being approx 10.5" and the sashing 4.5" wide. This was an old comfort that needed to be taken apart due to issues with the batting and backing.thankfully this is pretty good but there are prominent age marks and one spot that looks like a bleach stain on a sashing piece so this is offered as is. All fabrics are strong with no dry rot or shattering to report.it could be quilted after you took care of the areas of age marks.some of the marks may come out with a gentle cleaning as it has yet to be cleaned. Here is a nice.Old, silverplate pitcher I recently came across. Very detailed feet, handle, and spout. As seen.it needs repairs. The tip of the lid, needs to be soldered back on. Antique Bamboo Walking Cane Stag Horn Handle Sterling Collar -For Parts-Repair
I'm selling this cane for parts or repair. I hope whoever gets it decides to repair it. It's got personality- just a little bit off the beaten path. The cane segments are close together and the joints are prominent. Wood is in excellent condition with no cracks. Dents or major scratches. Another thing I like about the cane is the long brass end cap- 4 1/2" Note that it's worn more on one side. Otherwise in great secure condition with aged patina on brass. The sad part about this cane is that there has been injury to the handle. It rotates easily for about 45 degrees. It can also be moved from side to side a little bit. Sterling silver hallmarked collar is also loose and has a little folding on the very edge in places. No major dents. There is a nail missing. What can be seen of the stag horn handle and end of the cane is ... morenot damaged. I think it's just the connection.
