Vintage German CUCKOO CLOCK - Buck/Rabbit/Bird/Gun - Lily Marleen - Parts/Repair
ANOTHER ONE OF JACK'S AUCTIONS! This is strictly a"for parts or repair" auction as there are a number of issues. Without the buck piece attached. This clock measures about 16" x 12" I have not tried to run the clock and have no idea how well it will work or whether there will be any problems with it. If I were you, I would assume it needs some mechanical attention. The inside of the clock looks very clean and both of the bellows work. The three weights are here as is the pendulum. The wood part with the buck has a broken antler which is still here. That piece also has a repair on it. The other antler, while still attached to the buck, has one point broken off and missing. Around the face of the clock is what is suppose to be a horn. You can see the mouthpiece at about 12 o'clock. On the bottom at 6 o'clock ... morethere should be the bell of the horn which is missing. It also appears that the leaf below the rabbit has a small piece broken off on it's left edge. Also, please note that there is a slight upward warp to the wood of the left side of the roof. Those are the only issues that I noticed. Please look over my pictures carefully in case I missed anything. I purchased a large amount of model train cars. Engines track and other misc. items at an estate sale and have started to list these items. Item appears to be complete except the front of the boiler is missing. Tested and it does run but not very well. I think it would run a lot better if cleaned and lubed. The cab is removable as is the back of the cab to access screws under it. The one rear step is broken off but is included loose. I think this could be restored to a really nice engine with a little work. Lettering is in good shape with all edges crisp and clean. This is a nice item in restoreable ... morecondition with great color but you be the judge based on the pictures. There appears to be nothing else broken or missing unless noted above. The item works but not well. Besides a little dust(which I will not clean off as I don’t know what to use to clean them and don’t want to detract from the value of the car) this is a nice older engine with great color. All three need repair in one way or another they are sold for parts or repair. The Stuart serial number 51325.A15 jewels, the wheel train works when you move the pallet fork from side to side the staff look OK but need adj. The dial has a chip on the inside of the double sunk dial.The original balance cock has been replaced with another and fits very well marked adj as it should.The movement is not running. The miller serial number 328363 is 15 jewels the wheel train is working when you move the the pallet fork.The dial is very good only a minor chip on the edge, The staff is good and tries to run but the roller plate is loose and the balance cock has been replaced.The movement did run until the roller table got disconnected The Columbia is the best of the three.Dial is great shape no hairlines or cracks the wheel train is working but the ... moreroller jewel is broken and the hair spring is disconnected. You are bidding on a DUAL 606 ELECTRIC DIRECT DRIVE TURNTABLE. DUAL 606 ELECTRIC DIRECT DRIVE TURNTABLE. This turntable was in a lot of household goods purchased by the seller at an estate sale. Seller has no information on the history of this particular turntable or the extent of its use. At bid is the turntable alone. No instructions and no original packaging. The turntable is used. When plugged in the turntable powers on when the tone arm is moved is moved to the left. Both the 45 and 33 speeds work. The speed calibration strobe works. THIS IS THE EXTENT OF THE TESTING DONE BY THE SELLER. Seller has NOT actually played an album on the turntable. The pitch control and other functions other than the ones noted above are untested. The cue lever on the turntable does NOT work. It neither lifts nor lowers the tone arm. The top half of the tone ... morearm holder is broken off(see listing photo) Seller removed the cartridge to examine it. The front says Grado G+. The only other markings are a 581 stamped on the top of the cartridge. Seller does not know if either the stylus or cartridge works. Seller elected not to re-install the cartridge. It will be attached to the turntable in a plastic bag. The body of the turntable shows some chipping on the edges(see listing photos) The lid is scuffed and scratched and shows some cloudiness(see listing photo) The hinges do hold open the lid. Please use the zoom function on the listing photos and examine condition for yourself. Because the turntable contains the flaws noted above it is being sold here"as is" For parts, repair, or restoration, on a non-returnable basis. The turntable was dusty from being in storage.
