Vintage Zenith X390 Long Distance Wood Case Tube Radio & Alarm For Parts/Repair
This is an old Zenith wood case long distance radio. It's stamped X390. But there's a paper label that reads X390W. I think the W refers to the wood case. The clock works, but the radio has no sound. All the buttons work, although I'm not sure about the volume, of course. The radio is 15 1/4" long, 7 3/4" tall, and 6 1/4" wide. There is something spilled on one corner on the bottom. The radio has an AM, FM, and AFC frequency switch. The radio needs a cleaning, and the plastic faces over the dials look a little rough. Parts or repair piece only. Up for your consideration is an old french gilt bronze round beveled glass box. The gilded ornate bronze mount is unset or unglued from the glass box. The glass is in excellent condition but the gilded bronze metal shows some wear and it needs to be attached or glued to the glass box( see photos as part of description) The name baccarat was hand written in scratched letters at the bottom edge of the glass box. Done by some one in the past to identify the glass box as baccarat. The glass box measures 2 3/4 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at the box rim. Not including the gilded bronze metal and the lid. Description: What I know about cuckoo clocks I could write on a matchbook so I have included lots of photos. Found this at an estate sale in Petaluma. Ca. house was a bit crammed with stuff. This was still hanging on the wall but obviously hadn't been wound for a while. Very dusty and dirty but cool. Has double doors, 1 bird, 1 little guy. Inside works are marked Made in Germany, outside stickers are in German but one says Made in Switzerland? Weights and pendulum are there, plus the chains. Bellows work. Wooden top pieces is not attached, piece across the bottom has a crack/break(see photo# 9) Rough but could be made beautiful or used for parts.

1930's Pre War Gibson L-00 Acoustic Guitar For Repair
First off. I think it is a 1937, but what is written in read pencil looks like it could be 31. There is something stamped above that, but it is faint. This guitar was taken to Houston for stabilization repair. The guitar was tuned around six weeks ago, put in the case, and not taken out until today. It was still in tune! Starting with the top, the original keys were replaced with Kluson"deluxe" with white buttons. You will receive the original keys with the guitar. The screen printed logo is original. I believe the bell shaped truss rod cover is original too. There is some slight paint loss on the top back side, but not all the bad. The headstock has no cracks or repairs. The neck has wear on the back, but is straight. The truss rod adjusts normally. The neck joint appears never to have been reset. I was told that resetting the ... moreneck would help with the action, which I will address later. The top is missing the pickguard. I was told that Gibson around this time was carving out the top, and that the pickguards would lay flush. Back to the neck, the frets and fretboard are in decent shape. I can see wear on three frets near the top on the B string. Moving on to the top. The first issue is the top has bowed up, and the bridge will need to be glued. It is about 3/4's off from the left to the right. Back to the neck reset, I was told that there is not much more saddle to play with, and that the bridge can be sanded down, and if the neck was reset it would help lower the action. It is playable now, but after the ninth fret it gets pretty difficult. The sound hole has some pick strumming damage. As I rub my finger around the sound hole, I can feel where it scallops out around the center. There is a little paint loss on the bass side of the sound hole too. It appears that someone painted black from about the sound hole up on the top. If you look at the photo with the binding repair, it was cracked, which was repaired, but no binding was ever replaced. Missouri and has their date stamp in the front cover that reads August 31, 1956. Please look at the pictures, the book is all here and intact. It does have oily dirt on the front cover and the back cover. There is a water stain at the bottom of the book. You can see the water mark all the way through, lighter in some areas. Hardinge topslide repair kit with long 1/2-10 Acme LH tap
This is a kit to repair your top slide. It comes with: A drill bushing. A#3 center drill. The drill for a 1/2 acme tap. A 1/2 LH acme tap. A new brass nut that you put in place and the tap. Instructions from 1961. All of the tools are extended so they fit in a bushing and reach the nut once installed. This allows you to use a hand drill to cut the slide nut once it is in place for optimal accuracy. It is all in good condition but it has been used once. It looks like the hand drill spun on the shaft of the drill bit but its not bad. I am tempted to frame the instructions and hang them in my shop but you may need them.

EVENT ASP8 ASP 8 Precison powered studio monitors (1 needs amp repair )
ASP8 inch Event Studio monitors Great condition but not cosmetically perfect( I took pictures in unflattering bright day to show all scuffs in imperfections) I bought these used with one tweeter blown. I paid $90.00 for an actual Event replacement for these monitors. They worked great for 2 years and then the other day one of them only had the tweeter working. I unscrewed the back panel off and I tried to see if something was unplugged in side. I didn't see anything. So I performed a test to see if the woofer was blown. I unscrewed the back off of the working monitor and unplugged the speaker wires from the working monitor and ran them to the one that wasn't working. And then I had full working volume from that monitor. So I can tell you that the speakers on both monitors are fine. But something in the amp system on one monitor needs ... morea repair. So basically you are bidding on 1 fully functional ASP8 and one that has working woofer and tweeter. But needs an amp repair. I can honestly tell you I don't know or remember which monitor got the new tweeter. it was 2 years ago. If you just want the single working one. Or the single"needs repair" one let me know. If there aren't any bids yet I would consider listing them separately for you and then I would just sell the left over on a separate later in a new listing These monitors are awesome. Gibson confirmed the authenticity of the guitar over the phone and by email after examining photos Serial# 000009. The only repair needed deals with the truss rod. The strings are high so I took it in to our guitar tech/luthier in town. He told me that he couldn't adjust the neck because it appeared the threads of truss road were stripped. He said I have 2 options for repair. 1st option is to cut new thread with a truss road tool OR replace the truss rod. I just don't want to worry with it all. You can either play it as is. Repair it or use for parts. All the hardware is in excellent condition. Especially to be 46 years old. The control knobs work great with no scratching.
