Dan was raised in Philadelphia, but fell in love with a gal from Colorado. He moved to Denver 14 years ago to be with his now wife Nicole. Dan's love for fly fishing began 12 years ago with a back packing trip to Lake Verna in Rocky Mountain National Park. His good friend Seth hiked in a fly rod and they spent the evening sharing the fly rod to catch numerous brookies. When Dan returned to Denver he bought his first Reddington 5 wt. and never looked back. Dan has explored all the of the Denver front range waters and is especially fond of high mountain lakes that are located in the Indian and James Peaks Wildernesses. He enjoys teaching the skills he has learned over the past decade of fly fishing. He also enjoys the meticulous art of fly tying; there is something about catching a fish on your own tie.
