This is a very nice used EXTECH Digital Sound Level Meter. The meter has a sound level readout in dB as well as a bargraph that shows the sound level in graphical form. You can see from the front pictures what the various buttons do. It is great to take the unit to a store or a construction site and measure the noise level. The specifications for the meter are shown below. I have used this meter to balance my home theater speakers and it works great. Sometime ago the meter lost its original battery cover and I made one from a piece of black plastic. You can see this in the backside picture.
