The book pictures a few pieces of ARCO white plastic furniture in Barbie scale, and the photo above is one of them. I believe this MOST PROBABLY illustrates the vanity from which these drawers came. You are looking at a 2 Vintage SALEM China Biscayne Pattern Cup& Saucer Sets in EXCELLENT USED CONDITION! These beautiful items from the 1950's-1960's are still in AMAZING condition! I am selling them in PAIRS! The CUPS measure 4-3/4" across w/handle. Stand 2-1/16" tall and present in EXCELLENT condition with only a couple of them showing any wear: One cup presents with two tiny chips on the bottom; one cup presents with crazing in the glaze around the outer body of the cup and on the bottom. The SAUCERS measure 6-1/4" across and also present in EXCELLENT condition with only a couple of them showing any issues: 1 saucer has a long crack in the glaze(above the leaves) that has absorbed a dark liquid at some point and is now lightly stained. There is also an identical crack in the glaze on the bottom of the saucer(no ... morestain) 1 saucer has some thin marks on the bottom. So. Out of 20 pieces of dinnerware, only 4 have any issues! This listing is for 2 dinner plates. The pictures show them individually back and front with some close ups. The plates are in very good used condition with the exception of one imperfection explained below. No chips or cracks. The motif is in great shape as you might be able to see in the pictures. Some utensil scratches/scuffs from use. These are seen mostly to an angle and under a light. One has what looks to me like an unglazed part under the edge of the plate. But I do not know exactly what it is. I think it is an imperfection from the manufacturer, but I am not sure. You can see this in the last 2 pictures. Each plate measures about 10 1/8" across. They are made in England. I am also listing other pieces belonging to this pattern. I will combine shipping on multiple orders.
