Actually the 3/4" drill motor on the 4203 base has never had a drill bit in it. Actually new, just sat around and the chuck got some surface rust on it but the drill motor is new. Up for bid I have a Used Milwaukee Compact Magnetic Drill Press Model#4270-20. This drill has been used by myself in my garage shop. Has seen little use and is in very good to excellent condition. This is not some drill press that's been thrown around and abused in an manufacturing facility. As with any used tool this has minor nicks and scrapes from normal use but nothing to affect operation. Do not let the size of this unit fool you it is powerful with rated 9.0 amps and 1.1 hp. The toolless handle can be mounted on either side of the press. Unit has simple two button operation one for the 2300 Lbs. of deadlift magnet and one for the drill itself and all running on normal house current. What is nice about this is bring the press to your work piece not your work piece to the drill press. MILWAUKEE 4262-1 MAGNETIC BASE DRILL MOTOR Condition: USED/ GOOD/ SEE DESCRIPTION MILWAUKEE MAGNETIC BASE DRILL MOTOR. MODEL 4262-1 This is an older 3/4 inch Milwaukee electromagnetic base drill motor. However it was just serviced by Milwaukee in Dec 2012. Cleaned, new brushes and tested. As you can see in the pictures one mounting corner is broken off but you can mount it on the opposite side no problem. These are a heavy duty DC gear driven motor and with the way these mount this could easily be adapted to a CNC Plasma cutter to give you the ability to drill on your plasma cutter as well. All you would need to do is mount this on like a THK linear slide assembly and drive it with a stepper or servo motor etc etc. Good cheap drill motor for the price here. Very nice condition industrial mag drill. The electro magnetic drill base is manufactured by Bux Shrader and the drill is a industrial Milwaukee drill made for mag drill applications. The mag drill had a 2 speed forward/reverse electric power feed or the spindle operation can be manually operated with the large 3 spoke speed handle. The Milwaukee drill has also a 2 speed gearbox and forward/reverse operation. This is a very heavy duty mag drill. The entire unit is top of the line. Over $2,500 new.
