The only clue are the letters AMM etched onto the border of the plate. They measure 8" and are very thick glass and in absolutely excellent condition. They have what looks like the Northwood"Acorn& Burrs" in the center of the plates and then some very intricate scrolling. Then there are diagonal etched swirls leading out to the edge of the plates which lead to small wreath like circles all around the edge of the plates. Card 2 has the stapleholes on the left side of Raymond Burr's coat and are noticeable as seen in 1st picture. Card 4 has a staple hole on left sleeve of Angela lansbury's jacket and is noticeable if you look for it. Card 6 ... morehas stapleholes in top left and bottom right corners not in the artwork. Also cards 4& 6 have some heavier general border and smudge wear. However. All of the cards have rich dark colors and all have fantastic images of the stars, with Angela Lansbury on all the cards and holding a gun in 2 of them with card 4 just fantastic. Burr is also on 5 of the cards and one of the cards has a great image of Burr and Lansbury kissing. Neat set from a great late crime noir murder mystery right before Burr's big move to Perry Mason. As bad as all of the above may sound. The posters actually appears ok and display well, we just prefer to be on the safe side and describe as much as possible so as not to surprise our buyer with something they didn't expect, this way you will be more then pleased when the posters arrives, as it will most likely be much nicer than expected due to our very detailed description, thereby making you one happy customer. Set 6 RHODE ISLAND Coin COFFIN END TABLESPOONS-Ezekiel BURR-NR
Up for bid is a scarce set of six coffin-end coin silver tablespoons by Ezekiel Burr of Providence. Rhode Island, circa 1805. The spoons measure about 8 3/4 inches long and together weigh 286 grams, or a bit over 9 troy ounces. The handles have chamfered edges and downturned pointed coffin ends. The spoons have an even patina and are monogrammed"JSB" in script capitals on the fronts of the handles. The pieces are marked(EB) in an oval, one of several different marks used by Ezekiel Burr. Condition on the spoons is good. There is some minor tip wear and some other dings to bowl edges. There are a few shallow bowl dings as well. But nothing out of the ordinary. There are no cracks or repairs, and they have never been buffed. A nice set of spoons! I accept most methods of payment; please contact me for details. USED La Pavoni Zip Coffee Grinder Selling a used La Pavoni Coffee grinder with brand new burrs and other missing parts added. I bought this grinder from a commercial coffee house and it is just more than I need. It is built like a tank and must weigh at least 25 or more pounds NAKED! Its just too big for my small kitchen. It grinds from superfine"Turkish" powder to rough crunch grinds. It has a wheel for setting the grind and easily goes through an espresso grind. I replaced the following parts: Burr set. Hopper cover, Screw Cover Ring Nut, Coffee Collection tray, Doser Lever cover. I did not replace the spring loaded tamper because I thought most people would rather use a separate hand held tamper. The complete spring loaded tamper assembly can be found online for $46. The old burrs are pictured and will be included in this sale. ... moreI have cleaned the unit as best I could. There are scratches and dings on the grinder. When using this heavy duty grinder. I found it best to start the machine before putting beans into the grinding chamber by opening the hopper gate, then closing the gate once you have the amount of coffee you wish ground, to allow coffee beans to finish grinding. This is controlled by the hopper discharge gate. Otherwise, if the grind chamber gets filled with unground beans beans and the motor is turned off. The motor can stall if started with the chamber full of unground beans. When used in this manner it will go through a large amount of coffee and completely fill the doser with whatever grind size you select. Item is listed locally also. Thus the listing may end abruptly.
