Up for sale is a good running Dresser Gallion 150FA 15 ton rough terrain crane. It has 60' of boom on it. We bought this crane to set trusses on 2 house we just built. We brought it in the shop checked everything out like brakes and fluids and sent it out to the job. Everything work fine to our knowledge. We were able to set in one location and set 55' long trusses on 66' long houses so it has the reach. There is no leaks to speak of all the hydraulic cylinders hold fine and do not leak off. It has a 4-53 Detroit diesel in it that's starts and runs fine. Machine is ready to go and needs nothing that we know of. We have finished building the 2 houses and do not need it anymore. offering my crane for sale. its a 1980 grove at 180. all terrain 4x4. has 4 wheel steering. has 504 cummins. transmission was rebuilt, newer tires, rebuilt starter. runs great, has few small leaks,some rust, nothing major. I also have complete set of manuals. now heres the problem, I bought it 10 years ago and only used it in my marina, it is not registered. so buyer will only get bill of sale. not a problem if you plan to leave on your property and work it, but if you want a crane you can register and drive over the road, don't bid. im starting bids at 16,500. there is no reserve, buyer responsible for transport, I will help load on lowboy trailer. good luck

The crane has seen little use in the last 6 years. I closed my shop about 6 years ago because of my health. The crane has never been turned over or damaged. Cosmetically, as far as paint is concerned, it is pretty typical for the age with paint flaking in places and general surface rust, but no salt or rust through, etc. This machine runs and operates exactly as it should. It has a 453 Detroit Diesel engine and it runs great. The rear tires were losing air slowly, so I bought two solid rear tires and installed them so no more flats on the rear.ever! Huber 15 ton Rough Terrain Crane for repair, parts, or scrap
Huber 15 ton rough terrain crane. 4X4 hydro-static drive. Currently the hydraulics do not work. The previous owner troubleshot this to the torque converter. He said the output shaft is not turning. The crane was being used to erect wind generators until it went down, the back up crane was put into service in it's place. It has been sitting for a couple of years now. The engine is started and allowed to run every few months and the condensation has been kept drained from the fuel system. I currently do not have time for this machine. Estimated weight is 42,000 lbs. It could be repaired and would be a good crane. If the engine, hydraulic cylinders, block and such were removed/ sold and the rest sold for scrap metal, it should bring more than double the starting bid. It is located in Medford, MN 55049.
