The Kool-Touch® phenolic knob stays cool when the contents are hot and the lid can be easily operated with one hand. This is an original WWII Vollrath Canteen. The bottom of the canteen says"Vollrath 1944. The cover is a darker green than most WWII so I think it(the cover) is from the 50's. Cover does have the felt lining. The belt loop on the cover has come loose(needs some stitching) The canteen is in very nice shape with the cap and steel chain so you can't lose the cap. Up for auction is 2 Vintage WW II Vollrath U.S. Canteens. The first is from 1943 and has the metal cup and green US cover included. It is stamped US Vollrath 1943 on the bottom of the can is in really good condition with minor wear and a few very small dings on the can.The cork is still in the cap on this canteen. US Military Medical Water Pitcher Vollrath Stainless Steel
Up for bid is a US military medical water pitcher. On the bottom of the pitcher it is stamped US Bico. This pitcher is made from vollrath stainless steel. It holds approximately 3 quarts of water. Measurements are: 8 1/2" in height. 10" from spout to end of handle and 5 3/4" in width. There is some surface scratches from use. I do not see any dents in pitcher anywhere.
