You will be bidding on a Juice-King manual juicer/squeezer Model JK-35. This juicer was pateneted in 1938 and produced in the 1940s-50s. It is cream colored enamel and chrome in color. The cup and strainer are natural color aluminum. One places a half orange. Grapefruit, or other fruit in the strainer and pulls the handle and the juice is deposited in the bottom container. It works well and only has the normal scrathes and wear of a 60 year-old kitchen appliance. There are no dents. The handle is a hard rubber. Be sure to look at and zoom in on all pictures. Antique Silver Tea Strainer Austrian Coin Decoration For your Antique Silver or Tea Strainer Collection Details Description: A beautiful and unusual antique silver tea strainer. The strainer which has a central hemispherical silver strainer surrounded with Austrian silver coins. There is nine 3 Kruzers from the State of Salzburg dated 1680. 1681, and 1682. These are KM#228, which were struck during the rule of Maximilian Gandolph who is on the obverse, while the reverse has two shields of arms with the date above them and the value below in a circle. There is a larger coin on top of the handle. The coin is dated 1773 and has a denomination of 5, however, we were unable to properly attribute it. The coins are held together with decorative silver wire with small flower. The coin are soldered to the wire and to the strainer. The handle is made ... moreof a twisted thicker wire with a square on top where the 5 piece is soldered. There is a loop on top to hang from. The entire piece weighs 41.1 grams or a bit over 1.32 troy ounces of silver. The entire piece appears to be original and was put together after 1773. Please view photos as they are part and parcel of our description. Date: Uncertain but most likely late 1700s or early 1800s. Origin: Uncertain but most likely Austria. Size: The piece measures ~3 3/4" in diameter at the base and 5 3/8" long. The strainer itself measures 2 1/2" in diameter and is about 3/4" deep. It weighs 41.1 grams. Maker: Unknown. Marks: Unmarked as to the maker. Distinguishing Characteristics- Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a nice and unusual silver antique piece which you very seldom see. Welcome to my auction for this 1800s porcelain china draining soap dish. It measures about 5 x 3½ x 1¼" and has hol es in the top for soap liqui d to drain. There is a 5/8" hole at one end that this liquid can be pou red out and thrown away. It has a delicate draped blue design with tiny little red flowers and green leaves. The bottom has numbers 33071. This is an antique vintage silver(probably plated) 2-part tea bag holder and strainer. Used condition. Unfortunately, this item isn't marked. These matching pieces are stamp-engraved on the base(bowl section) with its receiving(strainer) top being etched on its surface with buds, flowers, scrolls and leaves. It's been recently polished and is in great condition. It's 2" tall, by 3-3/8" diameter(across straining receptacle) with the handled and'tipped-end' side of strainer being 6-3/8" in overall length. Vintage Japanese Cast Iron Teapot Kyusu Tetsubin Sakura Blossoms w/Strainer
This Japanese teapot(sometimes referred to as a kyusu) is constructed of brown finished heavy cast iron in a raised cherry(also known as"sakura" blossom pattern over a vertical line design. With an enameled interior. It has a handled lid. And a useful moveable handle. Comes with a well fitting and removable metal strainer basket for tea leaves. Maker's mark in kanji characters is somewhat visible but worn. As it was a estate sale find I am unsure of the teapot's exact age, but definitely vintage and of Japanese make. Teapot measures roughly 2 1/2" tall, with 4 3/4" diameter and 15" circumference at widest point. Although visually similar. The pot's strainer and presence of an enameled interior rather than one of exposed iron is what makes it a kyusu rather than a tetsubin. Kyusu are used for brewing tea ... morewhile tetsubin are primarily for boiling hot water, tetsubin also generally being larger in size. Teapot has not been cleaned. It arrives to you with it's patina as found. It has an aged look, some light overall rusting, particularly under raised centerline of pot and spout. For consideration is this Fine Russian 916 Standard silver and enamel tea infuser with acorn shaped bowl with a nicely enameled lid and handle. C.1950-1960. The gilt interior is near flawless. This Beautiful tea infuser measures 4 3/4" long and weighs approximately 31 grams or 1.1 oz. The excellent original condition and clear. Crisp detail, marked with makers mark and Russian hammer and sickle 916 mark for.916 purity. No signs of removals. Repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
