A set of Irish crochet consisting of a matching modesty panel. Cuffs and belt ~ I believe originally intended for a wedding garment ~ c.1900. Beautifully soft, creamy cotton in an unusual pattern and expertly made with raised 3 dimensional floral motifs. The modesty panel measures approx. 23cm x 32cm, cuffs 25cm x 9cm and belt 73cm x 9cm. Rare to find the set still together, appear to be unused and in excellent antique condition. One or two tiny spots of ageing but nothing significant ~ a lovely set for reworking, wedding dress design or framing. We are a non-smoking house. Burlesque/pin-up satin/lace high-waist garter belt with glamourous red/white rhinestones. No tags remain. Best fit would be a size XS to Small(please refer to the measurements below for your desired fit) The tales this beauty could tell. In good vintage/pre-owned condition. This needs a bit of TLC. Otherwise, best for display. Missing one red rhinestone at the top. The back elastic, as you can see, is faded and has lost it's elasticity over time. That could be replaced just for aesthetics, or to increase the waist size. There are a couple of small tears to the lace trim and the black plastic stays for the metal garters are cracking from age. Up for auction is a vintage lacey Bakelite corset belt buckle. This buckle features a butterscotch yellow base with a sexy black lace stitching(lace is stitched through the actual Bakelite piece! At the end of the lace are 2 white spike aglets for added style. There is metal hardware found on the back of the Bakelite to slip your belt through. And an additional metal hardware, seperate from the buckle, to feed the other side of the belt through. It's in great. Pre-owned condition with normal use and wear. A few minor surface scratches.
