I am not at all familiar with testing it. But I did read through the instruction manual and attempt to test it. Here is what I did– I followed the instructions for initial filling of the machine using the overflow tube at the front. This is supposed to fill the water bath portion. I did not have any problems doing this and once I turned the compressor on, I could hear it power on and begin to cool the machine down. I have no way to test if it actually made ice in the water bath though. Also, I don’t have any juice containers to use in the machine and so was not able to see if it would actually dispense. Also, I attempted to RINSE the machine per the instructions. I connected a hot water line, switched the selector to Rinse, and pressed one of the buttons on the front, but nothing happened. That is the extent of the testing and so I would assume since I was not able to get the machine to rinse, that it needs some type of repair, or may be good just for parts. I have one standard portable"touch control" model O Royal typewriter and case. The serial number on the typewriter is O-650029(1937) There is no dust or rust on the instrument! There is very little sign of use and the typewriter is nearly immaculate. All the glass keys work. The paten is not damaged or corroded, the rubber feet are inact and not cracked, and the entire machine is fully functional. The type size is pica-10 characters to the inch. There are no tab or tab release keys on the instrument. There is one scratch on the front corner, as shown. The case is a little rough, as shown. There is some tape on the back, bottom of the case. Vintage Leslie model 60 speakers. Includes both main and satellite. Cables, and controller. Grill cloths do not match, one black(main) and one silver(satellite) A few scuffs on the vinyl. When I got these, the controller was missing a knob and the box was a little rusty. I replaced the knobs and repainted the box, however did not replace the decals. One knob is for volume, the other is for vibrato speed. The slide switch is for vibrato speed range, hi or low. The satellite had a blown speaker which I replaced with a 200 watt 4ohm 10" speaker. It is not an original Leslie, however I will include the original blown speaker which I beleive can be reconed for a nominal charge. EVERYTHING WORKS ON THIS SET. These were originally designed for Wurlitzer or Fender/Rhoades electric pianos. I used them on a Wurlitzer console organ an they made ... morean incredible sound. Being close to 40 years old they are sold as is, however they do work. These are heavy, so pick up would be nice. I am even willing to drive a little.
