You are viewing a Vietnam era power kit for a Wild Heerbrugg surveying instrument target set. This is authentic US military surveying components. This 6 D cell power kit provided illumination to a Wild T-2 or target set for surveying applications. I am auctioning off the target set on another listing. The batteries are not included. Included are four light bulbs. Two corded plug-in adapters and one other miscellaneous wild instrument parts. I believe it is fully functional however I did not test it with batteries. Because there are no electronic parts there's not much that can go wrong. It is in very good condition and makes an excellent addition to a military or survey collector.

Gorgeous Wild Heerbrugg 21B wood& brass tripod from WWII era. Tripod is roughly 39" tall at it's shortest. Can be over 5' tall fully extended depending on how you set the legs. Extremely clean and well cared for, all metal parts are/were originally painted. Apparatus base at head of tripod is brass, wood legs look to be maple(we think? Impressive bottom"talons. Original leather strap with buckle. Bag with many little misc parts, brass screws, brass knobs. Of note in the parts bag is a wingnut style hex key for adjusting bolts on the tripod, and a little vial(for lack of a better word) which unscrews to reveal a needle-type tool- both items brass. All the circles have been inspected and and are functioning properly as well as all locking knobs and fine adjustments. The optics are immaculate. See for your self in the pictures above. We are including a tripod as well as three illuminators with bulbs plus two extras bulbs and a target sticker with this theodolite. The last calibration on this unit was performed on 12/15/11. Other than some scratches on the conical base(most likely from removing inventory stickers over the years) and a cracked green filter in one of the illuminators. Beautiful WWII vintage Wild Heerbrugg Theodolite- number 13928. Based on this very low number and what we have found on the Wild Heerbrugg website. We estimate that this dates from the early 1940's and appears to be an NT1 model. Comes complete with theodolite, original case, sun shield and lens cap. Also have a bound printout(in German) of the Wild Spare Parts Manual for the T1A/T1AE and another photocopied manual The Theodolite and its Application. In beautiful condition, leather strapping looks to be cared for, latches work fine to hold in place for transport, sun shield is tight on scope, but looks to never have been used as there is no evidence of scuffing on device or cuff. Lenses all look great, no evidence of blemishes, don't see any dust under lens. View through site is great.
