New Jersey City Hall Presentation Piece Souvenir Building This two-dimensional miniature building commemorates the inauguration of Anthony Russo as Mayor of Hoboken on July 1. 1997. From an online source: Hoboken City Hall. Is located in Hoboken. New Jersey. The building was designed by Francis George Himpler and was built in 1883. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 1. 1976. The building is a Second Empire structure modified to a Beaux Art Classicism design. Anthony Russo was the 35th mayor of Hoboken. New Jersey. Serving from 1993 to 2001. He won two terms, but failed to get enough votes to get a third term. In the 1993 election that got him into office. Russo beat his main opponent, Ira Karasick. During his two terms. On September 29. 2004, Russo pleaded guilty to public corruption charges in federal court. Russo was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison and ordered to pay more than $317,000 in restitution. It is, to my knowledge, the only METAL replica of Stonehenge made and I know for sure that it is quite rare and hard to find. It is small, measuring 7/8" tall including the removable clear plastic top. Miniature Souvenir Building Replica This is a truly superb and early(probably lead) cast miniature metal replica of the legendary Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris France. The detial is stunning. I have two issues to report on: there is some residual metal polish(the white spots you see) that should clean out but will take time AND there is a very tiny tip that is present on the right side vertical at the front of the catedral bus is broken or fully blunted down on the other vertical. Aside- look at the pics and you will see that this is a keeper. One of the best I have ever seen for detailing and overall visual impact. It is 4" tall. Old Cast Iron Architectural Building Model-Arc De Triomphie-Grand Tour Souvenir
Hello folks. This is the last one left of the 3 that were originally listed and this one has a bit more surface rust than the one you see in photo. It is a wonderful Old Cast Iron Architectural Model Building of Arc De Triomphe aka Champs Elysees. I'm having a hard time trying to date this peice but I know its a very early one and Old. This is Large in size and I know it would have been a travelers souvenir most likely for the Early years of what was call"The Grand Tour" Inside the peice under each column is a holder for a votive or tealight style candle and the top has a thin grate so I'm sure it was designed to hold something, I was thinking possibally a fish bowl or plant maybe. Today there are still tiny souvenir models made of a pot or die cast metal of the Effiel Tower and Arc De Triomphe. Napoleon started the project ... morein 1806 and it was not completed until 1836. There is a web sight for antique Models from the Grand Tour that show many peices this is shown but its in a bronze and designed a little differently. And for one this size I've only found one other that sold on a auction sight(not ebay) that fetched a good price. With a wire brush cleaning and fresh paint it could look much better, but there wonderfully architecturally detailed and actually I like the aged cast iron myself. Its a very heavy peice and would be wonderful for plants to set on, Garden or Porch decor or they may hold a fish bowl that was the right size. Its measurments are 10 3/4" tall, 10" long and 5 1/4" wide at there widest corner points. The top grate areas are approx. 8 1/8" in length and are 3 1/2" wide. Thanks to all for viewing. Paula& Terry

New York World's Fair Lockett* of World's Fair Theme Building(1939-1940) - RARE
This is a unique and RARE Lockett from the New York World's Fair. It has a raised bubble on front of Lockett with an artistic design of the World's Fair Theme Building. Inside the Lockett is two antique/vintage pictures in black and white. The Lockett opens up like a book and a picture is on each side. The Lockett measures about 1" in Length and about 3/4" in Width. The pictures are the best description of this item. As well as its condition. There are no returns on this item, so the pictures are the best way to get an idea about this item and its condition. Great piece of history!

No Reserve! This is a copy of Fantastic Four 183 in Fine condition(6.0) Published by Marvel in June, 1977 and featuring the story"Battleground: The Baxter Building! This copy has creases at the corners and nicks. Small tears and stress lines at the spine and edges, but it's a pretty copy of this Bronze Age Marvel Superhero book! I'm not an expert grader. But I think you'll be very happy with this book. There isn't much to say about this one except that you'll love it! US buyers pay $4.00 shipping. I combine shipping.
