K&E Model: 77 0012 Builders Transit Level W/Tripod & Grade Stick +
I found this at a sale. It looks good to me but I'm not a Professional. When I look through it. It seems O.K. to me. Might need to be tuned up, Calabrated or whatever.The Transit is older but the Tripod and the Measuring Wheel seems close to new. All in all it would probably work for setting those Forms or putting in that Pool or what needs to be done. I'm not shipping just"local pick up only" so you can inspect when you pick it up.

Gorgeous 1907 Keuffel& Esser wye level with Keuffel and Esser tripod. As complete as you're likely to find. Includes level. Lens cap, mahogany box with leather strap, lens shade, brass plumb bob, adjustment tools, instruction booklet. Also original K&E tripod with metal clad feet, wooden cap to protect screw mount. Serial number dates instrument to 1907. Instrument is complete and functional to the best of my knowledge. Optics are clear and bright, all knobs turn and operate. Wear consistent with 100-plus years of careful use: scratches and finish wear. All superficial, no dents or damage. The loop on the strap that would hold extra length past the buckle is broken, but the main strap looks original and still bears the weight of the box and instrument fine. There are brass tack heads or"feet" on the bottom of the box, ... moreone of the four is missing. All in all a remarkably complete and intact set of American engineering history. Will be packed carefully. In two packages: instrument and case in one, tripod separate. Buyer to pay $50 S&H. More info or photos. Please just ask. There is a hook type lock on the front(see pic 10& 11) The box has the Sears Robuck and Co. USA label with the model no 789.46212. The transit has the number 1S 49469. This is in good to very good condition. Glass bubble is intact. As is the glass with crosshairs. Has all brass mounting screws. This will be well packed to arrive in the condition described. This Wild Heerbrugg N-3 Survey Level is in excellent mechanical condition. The level's optics and additional features are all in proper working condition. This piece has not been calibrated recently. Case with latch and lockdowns all work well. Original strap is slightly frazzled but is strong. The magnification eyepiece is in good condition with strong locking twist both on case and level. Mirror level reflector is in good condition even though photo is reflecting lights and may appear to have cracks. It does not. This is a good working piece and has not been abused.
