OS Systems Scuba Drysuit Insulation Undergarment Thermal Jumpsuit Men's Large
On auction here is a used set of drysuit insulation made by OS Systems. This jumpsuit is a men's large. And it is made of 87% polyester, 11% acrylic, and 2% other. It is a little loose on me(pictured) but then, I am on the small side(5'9" tall, 155 pounds, 30-inch waist, 32-inch inseam, and 37-inch chest. This drysuit insulation does not have a tag indicating its model. Temperature rating, or degree of insulation. It does, however, have two hip pockets, a crotch-to-neck zipper, and is in excellent condition, with one small exception. It might help to have its elastic heel straps replaced, because they are quite loose. The right leg has what appears to be a secondary heel strap, which is sufficiently tighter, but given further thought, this might exist to cinch the cuff tighter around your ankle. At any rate, any tailor should ... morebe able to replace both heel straps in little time and at little cost. This drysuit insulation is perfect for a backup. Rental fleet, or any low-budget diver. I am selling a Unisol Volumatic Cellulose/Fiberglass/Rockwool blowing machine. It is a large blower holds about 12 large bags of cellulose in the hopper. Great machine never had any issues. Air lock seals were replaced about 4 months ago just before it was taken out of service. Will blow about 200 25lb bags of cellulose an hour or about 400 of the little bags you get at home depot. You can insulate most attics in 20-30 minutes. Machine runs smooth and has a nice steady flow. Unit is self contained and has a 18hp kohler motor in it. This is a James G. Biddle Co"Megger" megohmmeter insulation tester. Estimated to be from the early 1980s, in working condition but without recent calibration. The tag on the back states that it is catalog#70147. But investigating the website(biddlemegger.com) I have determined that it appears to be the same as#21805 and a n owners manual is there to download. A hand cranked magneto supplies 500 volts through the leads and the readout is scaled from 0- 500 ohms(o hms side) and 0- infinity(megohms side) With a switch to set the reading. Leads and case are included. But the leather case is in rough shape, needed a re-stitch and general TLC. The leads are about 5 feet long an d in good condition. And the instrument its elf is clean. It is missing the small cover plate for the ohms/megohms switch but the info is hand written on the meter. ... moreOther than that. No markings or engravings. I used th is for several years while surveying yachts and doing marine electrical consulting work. Great for determining if there is insulation damage to hidden wiring. Very nice James G. Biddle Model 210400(S/N# 5837) 0– 5KV Megohm-meter. The instrument powers up and appears to correctly measure resistance in the Megohm range as demonstrated by the 1 Megohm connected to the instrument. This instrument is in very good overall physical condition. I am not real knowledgeable about this equipment so this is all the testing that I have done with this equipment. It is USED, and it is sold strictly: AS-IS. Please see the pictures attached to this auction. This instrument is an important item for use in industrial facilities in the PM(preventive maintenance) of large motors, generators, transformers, and is heavily utilized in Motor and generator repair shops as well. Please note you probably won’t find a cleaner looking used instrument than this one. Testing high voltage circuits for leakage is too often a"hit or miss" operation unless you have a genuine load and feedback test metered device. Watching for pale blue sparks in a darkened environment is a time-tested method. Probing about with a grounded ice pick sort of tool is another. I've even known some fellows who don't seem bothered much by getting zapped with low amperage high voltage run their hand over secondary ignition leads to see if they have any leaks. But for factory authorized small engine shops. A genuine"Hi-Po" or High Potential electrical loading and testing device is considered more professional. Even though it may be less exciting. This can work on any brand of equipment. But it was sold through Toro's dealer equipment supply channel. Very nice piece to own and will retain its value for ... moremany years unless someone who should not be allowed in your shop gets hold of it. So I'll start it at a low but fair non-give-away starting bid. But way lower than its cost. Not everyone needs one of these. But for those who do and have decided to go independent rather than continue working for a dealer who has a properly outfitted shop. This would be an excellent shop addition that will make money for them and speed up finding high-voltage problems. I know this does not appear as though it would weigh much. Probe needs to be repaired/re-wired, but works if you jiggle the connection a bit. The electrical tape is covering a bare wire, the wire inside is undamaged. Missing carry strap, ... morebut bolts are still intact so it's easily replaced. Fuse needs to be replaced. And Battery casing needs to be cleaned. See pictures for further details.
