Title: Little Old Log Cabin in The Lane. Performed by Vess Ossman Brown wax playing surface is very good to excellent. With some normal surface noise but no significant pops or unwanted noises. Small chips inside lower rim, but they don't affect the integrity of the cylinder. A couple of repeats at the end. Otherwise an excellent record. Fits all the way on the mandrel and plays through nicely. That's about it. I will pack it carefully and properly. I've been shipping fragile antique phonographs and wireless sets for years. You are bidding on a beautiful set of Antique/Vintage Pre-War(c.1929-1934* NORTHLAND MANUFACTURING CO. St. Paul. Minnesota) Jumping( Skis EXTRA LONG! EXTRA CURVY PROFILE! Approx. 77" Long x 3-1/2" Wide with Leather-Strap Bindings WOW! Antique condition with lots of patina and timeworn character! Vintage and antique skis make the perfect decor for display in your camp. Cabin, ski lodge, lake house, or man-cave. This is a wonderfully preserved set of antique wood skis from the early 20th century. They feature classic. Pointed(nipple) tips and leather-strap bindings. CONDITION DETAILS: I'm not an expert on antique skis. So here goes a layman's description. The skis have an appropriate aged appearance. But the undersides don't display the usual scraping/gouging that you see on well-used wooden skis. My guess is that these ... moreskis may not have actually been used in the great outdoors. The leather straps are a matched set. And they look original. There are no breaks or tears in the straps, though, unfortunately, one has lost its buckle. The"treads" are both there. And appear to be original. They have some cracking and other marks on them, but they're firmly in place- not peeling off the skis. The finish is curious. Like I said. It's possible this is the original finish and the skis were never taken outside. OR, it's possible someone re-coated them with varnish. In any case, it's become rough and"crocodiled. A very interesting aged effect, in my opinion, but you'll have to be the judge. And there's a bit of a scuff in the finish toward the top of one ski, as you can see in the picture. The Northland decals are in extraordinary condition. ARE THEY TWO DIFFERENT COLORS? One of the pictures suggests they are. It's quite obvious that this has always been a matched set of skis since the time they were manufactured. One decal does appear a bit more yellowed than the other. But they are the same decal. Excellently detailed vintage AM radio in the shape of a yacht or cabin cruiser. Made in the 1960's-70's by Waco in Japan. And it works great. This model luxury boat is made of hard plastic with brass metal trim on the railings, ladders and portholes, and intricate detailing from the instruments on the main mast to the lifeboat, ship's wheel and anchor. Framed Primitive Stitchery "Live Simply", Sampler, Cabin Decor, Rustic, Country
This is a nice primitive stitchery with sheep the alphabet. Vines and pipberries. It is crafted on tea stained muslin and backed with warm and natural batting. I used floss thread in colors of black, off white, green, burgundy, and gold. It will come framed in a wooden 8 X 10 inch frame with a saw tooth hanger. The frame will be painted black and ruffed with sandpaper for a more primitive look. Frames will always be made of wood and 8X10 but may look different than this one. This stitchery will be made for you upon order so this will not be the stitchery you receive but one just like it. Keep in mind this is hand stitched so the stitches may not be identical. Its also tea or coffee stained and staining never turns out identical. This will be a great addition to your primitive home or a nice gift.

Probably made in Canada, probably Cree because of the red wool decorations, coming from a house contents sale. They measure about 11" wide by 35 3/4" long(for a lady? and show almost some wear to the gut and discoloration from use. One has a broken rawhide strand on top of the rear crossbar(see photo, top snowshoe) About half the wool tassels are worn away. These snowshoes are very usable or could be cabin decor. Here is a great example of the straight roof early Clevenger Repro no later than the 20's. It has a huge applied glop top. It is a perfect example with crudity. Bubbles, waves in the glass and is a very very light color. The bottle is the best I have ever seen. There is a 2" circular depression on the base with diagonal seams.
