Antique Vintage bamboo & leather snow ski poles great cabin lodge decor
This listing is for 2 vintage 50” bamboo ski poles with leather hand loops. 6”approximately) bamboo circle baskets that are fastened to the poles with leather strips and cotter pins. The pointed tips are metal. Slightly rusted in places, and one is clamped to secure as a small piece at the base is missing(see photo# 4) They have a heavy coat of red paint on both but it is coming loose in places on one(see photo# 3) and the circle basket on the other one has 2 small“nibbles” from some small, furry creature(see photo# 5) They have probably seen their share of action but are in reasonable vintage condition as the leather is still intact and there are no splits in the bamboo but I do not know if they are still functional. I am not sure of the age of these ski poles, but they compare to other listings that date from the 1930’s. Antique LOG CABIN BLOCK Vintage Quilt ~ Sunshine and Shadows ~ This antique Log Cabin quilt is such a neat one with the white sunshine running through! Design is full of lots of vibrant colors. An large assortment of beautiful feed sacks and 1930's cotton prints make an outstanding combination together. The back is a nice floral"cheater" and has been brought to the front for the binding. Lots of small pieces of fabric went into the making of this one. Measures 76" x 66" Hand- quilted. The main issue with this one is the tear at edge of quilt. It measures about 5" Nothing that cannot be easily mended. And hardly noticeable with it being at edge of quilt. And several popped seams. Also, some light stains scattered here and there. Still in great antique vintage condition! Please keep in mind that these are vintage ... moreand antique quilts. So there may be some small loose seams and some age related stains. I try to report as much of this in my descriptions as I can, but may at times not see every little thing. Lots of history and charm in these old quilts.

This is a very nice Vintage German Tin Litho Mechanical Bank. I found this at an estate sale. I have found little information about this bank. I did find 1 similar which said it was a 1930's by J. Distiler- Nuremberg. Mad in Germany. When a coin is dropped in coin slot the flag moves up& down. It measures 3 1/2" wide x 5 7/8" tall. The colors are great, very little missing and slight rust spots here and there. I read a article that very few of these are around. Please ask any questions you may have prior to bidding. Antique Log Cabin - Barn Raising Pattern Quilt, - Item #1501124.
A great old Log Cabin quilt done in the Barn Raising pattern from the civil war period. This is marvelous old quilt completed in the 1880's with a great assortment of 100% cotton fabrics from 1860's through the 1880's used to make the log cabin blocks. The quilt is machine pieced and tied with embroidery thread. It has a cotton batting and a cinnamon pink woven look backing fabric. It has 5 blocks with damages of small tears. Stains and fading(see pic#3) One edge of the quilt also has damages or tears. The worst tears are shown in picture#4. The backing fabric also has a few small stains and a few small tears in the fabric. This is still a striking quilt when on display inspite of the damages and stains.

This offering is for a Vintage Louis Marx(MAR Toys) Tin Frontier Ranch House Cabin with Chimney. The colorful detailed Litho on this cabin remains in excellent. Clean condition. As can be expected with older tin toys, it does have some minor bends and a few small dents. There are only two tabs missing and three that need to be reslotted, yet it remains very sturdy and displayable in its current condition, there is no looseness. I have tried to provide sufficient pictures so you can assess its condition. Although subjective, I would say it is about a 7.5 to 8.5 on a ten scale with ten being mint. Here we have a wonderful antique Abram Cox Pot belly cook stove in good vintage used condition. Black and gold trim. Has a number 12. On it. The stove measures about 24 inches tall, by 18 3/4 inches by 20 1/2 inches at the top by 18 inches by 20 inches at the base. Has two areas on top for cooking Missing one grate of two. Has door below for cleaning out ash after the wood or coal is gone. This is a great little stove for a cabin, for heat or to cook on for that great vintage cabin feel. Has a hole on top in back for a vent pipe. Needs to be checked out for safety before you use it. Was only used recently for a decorative piece in our home. Number 12.This could be a rare antique cook stove or laundry stove as I have not been able to find out much about it online. Antique Cabin or Low Profile Refinished Trunk - rustic lodge look
Up for auction today we have a lovely low profile or often referred to as a cabin trunk. Dating to the turn of the century. This trunk has been in my workshop of over a year, someone started the refinish and unfortunately made some choppy cuts in the wood trying to take off the canvas. See all photos- but I have to say, this trunk is a beauty and the wood is such a pretty color- it has been sanded so smooth and all metal left as is. This trunk has a lot of heavy duty hardware on it- seems it was ready to take a beating and to travel all over the world. What is very special about this baby is the great job of lining the inside that my mom did. As many of you know she is 85 years old and has such talent when it comes to lining trunks.
