I personally removed this from an old dairy barn in rural Ohio a few years ago this is been sitting in my private collection since. The base on this piece measures approximately 6.5" x 4" As mentioned. This piece could use a good cleaning but has a great look to it. A good addition to any steam punk collection. It measures approx 6 ¾ inches(including the handle) and approx 4 inches wide. The base appears to be made of slate. I believe the handle is painted black wood. The base is 4 x 4 inches and I believe is made of slate. This piece was used as there are signs of wear. The handle wobbles a little but might be able to be tightened up by the screw. On the switch, by the handle it is embossed, 25 AMP 230V Trumbull Elec. Co. I did a little research. This company was founded in 1899 in Plainville Connecticut and called Trumbull Electric Company. The knife switch measures 14 1/2" long. 5 1/2" wide and the slate is about 1" thick. When the handle is standing straight up it is 9 1/4" tall. It is old and is not perfect. It has minor issues like a few chips on the corners of the slate. It is one post that is a little short due to use. The handle moves and works as it should. It is marked Trumbull 100AMP 250V. Antique FA Frank Adams Knife Switch 200A 250V Slate Electrical Disconnect c.1920
Very unique and large Frank Adams copper knife switch is rated at 200A. 250V and shows 1914 and 1918 patent dates. Weight is about 6 pounds and almost 12" in length. On the base is a brass plaque that states"This is the switch used to electrocute uncle Joe Mayer and his wife Abigail" I'm guessing that since these switches were a popular choice in theatre lighting and power plants, this was used as a theatre prop( Overall condition is very good but there's an old split in the corner of the slate base; it's old and under the brass plaque and doesn't really detract, but it is there. Very cool industrial item and quite the conversation piece!

Large Vintage Knife Switch: Hall & Connolly, NYC 100a 500v Carbon Arc Spotlight
Here we have a very cool. Large, old knife switch in its original electrical box. The switch came from a 1920's carbon arc spotlight made by Hall and Connolly, Inc, NY. The actual knife switch inside the box was made by Trumbull and was rated for 100 amps, 500 volts AC or 250 volts DC. The piece came from an old vaudville/movie house projection booth. A very unique piece. The box measures 8" wide by 8" deep at its tallest point by 10" tall. Measuring from the bottom of the box to the top of the wood handled knife switch measures 14 inches. The box has a nice brass tag on it that tells the manufacturer(Hall& Connolly) Serial number(177, not many made) and type of box(EF4) The knife switch itself is mounted on some type of insulating board and is constructed with heavy copper bars/blades. The only insignificant flaws ... morewith it are that first. The nut that holds the handle lever to the breaker is not original(I lost the original but its just an unseen nut) and second, the wire that holds the bottom of the box together at the hinge is missing(its basically just a straight coat hanger wire)

This a early century electrical control panel. It was used on a DC metal planer. The meters work as do the knife switches and rheostat. Everything is mounted in a very heavy piece of slate. The piece stands on angle iron legs. The entire unit is 5'6" tall. 2' wide and 1' deep. I can remove the legs which will make it 3' X 2' X 1' if that helps. I will not arrange shipping, but I will put it on a pallet for you. I suggest you pick it up since the glass in the meters is fragile. It weighs right at 200 pounds. Removing the legs might knock off 5 pounds. This is a really neat thing especially since it's all together. It would look perfect next to an electric chair. Just in time for Halloween.

Antique Electrical Slate Bryant Industrial Frankenstein Knife Switch - 15A. 250V
You are bidding on an Antique Electrical Slate Bryant Industrial Frankenstein Knife Switch 15A 250V Halloween Steampunk. The knife switch measures 3 1/8" long. 3 1/4" wide and the slate is about 1/2" thick. When the handle is standing straight up it is a little over 6" tall. It is old and is not perfect. The handle moves and works as it should to both sides It is marked BRYANT and 15A 250V on the bar the handle is screwed into. Antique Industrial Porcelain Fused Double Lever Knife Switch Dated 1908
Great old vintage Tem Co porcelain. Fused knife switch. I removed this(and and two GE rheostats listed in separate auctions) from an old newspaper office in our area. It was still wired to the machines, although they haven't been in operation for years. As such, it is untested and sold as is. Shows wear from use and needs cleaning. Has some paint overlap from when the mounting board was painted. Has a chip at the screw hole on one corner as pointed out in the fourth photo. Measures 11 1/4 x 4 1/2. Marked 727-8, Nov. 1908 on the back. Marked 0-30 amps, 125-250 volts, Tem Co. on the front. Fuses marked Chicago fuse, Weber Electric and Pyrotite. This, better still combined with the rheostats, will make a great wall hanger for that industrial or steampunk themed home or business. Pat. Date 1920 here is a nice old item from the past. Double knife fused switch. Porcelain base. Brass contacts, wooden handle knobs. Shows age- some wear- slightly dirty. This has not been cleaned. Marked CEM. Co. 30 amp 125 V Pat 1920 1521 Great for the collector and that vintage age old look. Not selling for use. Working condition unknown.
