Security Key Switch with Wires, Inline Fuse, and Crimped Female Connectors
These key switches were pulled from an electric bike setup. The wires were cut from the entire assembly. And the key switches were retained. They show some wear but are functional. The wires were all tested for continuity. And the key switches have continuity when in the ON position, and are open circuits when in the OFF position. Not all wires have a female terminal on them. The female terminals connected to the standard terminals of a sealed(non-automotive) lead acid battery. The key's provided are identical. And the switches both work with the same set of keys. One switch is much easier to turn on/off. The other needs a little jiggling, and once you get familiar with it you'll know the sweet spot. The fuses still have continuity and can be replaced with standard fuses.

If you know what this is, please feel free to let us know! This is a foot pedal that has some interesting attributes. We are guessing this is late 1800's to early 1900's. It had some type of wiring that went into the end that has been cut off. The tip of the toe has a small rod that comes out and fits into a sliding bar on the base. When you step on it a contact on the bottom of the ball of the foot touches a plate on the bottom base. There is an iron bar that swings in the middle of the foot. We had one person suggest a foot powered telegraph key. Not to sure about that one. It measures approx. 12 1/2" long and 4" wide at its widest point. The base is magnetic, the foot itself is not.
