Up for sale is a RARE WWII Elgin A8 Jitterbug Military Ground Speed Timer Pocket watch. This is the type of pocket timer used on bomber planes for determining navigational ground speed. Back case is blank with a small triangle with AC171 inside it. Timer is 15 jewels. Timer looks great! Pocket watch is hand winding. I have wound the timer and it runs. Lot of 4 stop watches. First is a Heuer 60 minute times. Good condition, light normal wear. Second is a Heuer"Fisher" 60 minute timer. Good condition except for a cracked crystal that will need to be replaced. Third is a 7 jewel 30 minute timer by Compass Instrument, plastic case w/some scuffing on the back. Opens thru the crystal, light crystal wear. Fourth is a Wakmann 7 jewel 60 minute timer. Like new crystal. All are running and all functions on all four work as intended. Included is a Heuer stop watch box; however, I don't think it belongs to either of the two listed Heuers. Needs a good cleaning that is left to the buyer. Has a faint line from top to bottom that resembles a surface scratch but is a cord mark. This was done at the factory. I contacted Blenko to confirm.
