This auction is for a neat and petite Oak Smokers Stand or Cabinet from Scotland. This is one cute small cabinet. Under the top. An arm swings out that used to hold an ashtray. I would assume it was a metal ashtray, but it did not make the trip from Scotland. It's petite& cute you could put in in any room. In the kitchen, it would make a killer spice cabinet or jelly cupboard. In a den or family room it would make a wonderful candle stand. In your bathroom it would make a great place to store your paper or toiletries. Again, it could go in any room from your kitchen to your bathroom, you just have to let your imagination run wild for the many uses of this little cabinet. Item: Up for auction is this Walnut Smokers Cabinet or Humidor. The item is constructed of solid walnut and has a lot of intricate details. Each corner is finished off with a stylized swan. The cabinet is not lined and is bare wood. It stands 26 inches tall. 22.5 inches from side to side, and is 11 inches deep. The table top portion is 13x11 and the inside of the cabinet is 10.75 inches tall, 10.25 inches wide, and 10 inches deep. The entire cabinet is loose and could use regluing. The wood is dry and need of a refinish or some sort of conditioning. There is a chip out of one of the swans on the front right corner that can be seen in the photos. This lovely piece was originally made as a smoker’s tray. The original base piece was removed and lost long ago. Probably by someone looking to confirm how the item was cast. The piece weighs about three pounds and measures 11”x7.75” and has a wonderful patina. It could use a good cleaning and there are some spots of corrosion, this piece has a simple, appealing design. This Aesthetic designed piece was made by the firm of Hukin& Heath& shows design influences of Christopher Dresser who was working for the company at this time. Although it does not have the Dresser mark it is reminiscent of his designs& how he liked to incorporate elements of nature. The set is finished in what looks like tree bark& ruffled leaves. The unique design is also very characteristic of Dr. Dresser. This simple piece was used to hold cigarettes on one side& the other box was used to lite them. The lighter fluid box has a central floral shaped top with a wick which would be kept burning. I do beleive it is a Cushman. It does have a 3 digit number stamp. It is very hard to read but I think it is marked#50? H.T. Cushman manufactturing Company of Bennington Vermont opened in 1892. They made a line of Smokers in 1920's. This is in very good to great condition especially for it's age. It does have a few cracks here and there but none are to bad. I bought it at a antique store. It was really dirty. I polished it with Old English Dark and I did spray paint the build in ash tray, cigerette holder and match box holder. I painted them a Hammered Antiqued Brass. As you lift the lid. The sides of the box open simultaneously to reveal an ash tray concealed and fixed on each side. The interior of the box contains three art deco mirrored/timber levels that each hold 11 cigarettes x 3 rows– equals storage for 33 cigarettes. In its time, this box would have been a central, highly utilised item. It is made of fine quality wood with excellent joinery. The lid and front of the box have some lovely marquetry inlay. Six doors that open when you turn the finial at the top of the dome and reveal racks for cigars or pipe and other sorts of smoking paraphernalia with gilt metal fittings. The pretty finial at the top turns and opens and closes the doors- this has to be done carefully and gently and sometimes needs a bit of help, but it does work- you have to bear in mind this box is nearly 150 years old. Bradley & Hubbard Smokers Floor Lamp Dated 1899 Arts And Crafts Era
This auction is an estate fresh Arts and Crafts era floor lamp made by Bradley and Hubbard It has an ashtray and match holder attached. The light switch is dated 1899. So that is how I have dated the lamp. It has the original patina. There are a couple of screws missing. As shown in the pictures, but nothing to take away from the uniqeness and beauty of this rare lamp. It may have had some repairs in the past. The light socket says press. But it has an age appropriate toggle switch, and the shade has some solder inside. It gives a warm glow when lit. It measures 53 inches high and extends further. I have not extended it. So I can not tell you how high it goes. I am giving a packing and shipping estimate that has no basis in reality. Please do not pay until invoiced. So an accurate cost can be provided.

1930's 1940's Tin Lined Smoking Smokers Stand Humidor Side Table Beautiful Wood
Here's an Adorable Vintage Humidor Cabinet. It is made of Really Pretty Wood and measures 21 1/2 inches high by 16 by 12 across the top. It probably dates from the 1920's- 1940's and looks like it was probably refinished at one time. It is lined with Tin on the inside which has creamy color flat paint on it. I scraped a bit of the paint away to see what the material was and it is silver color. This little cabinet is Solid wood. No venires except for the inside back of the drawer. As you can see, it has nice decorative turned legs and it is finished even on the back. It is in very good condition. There are a few scratches in the top under the varnish, they are only visible when examined at a side angle. They must have been there before it was refinished.

Antique Black Americana Majolica Tobacco Smoker set. The 2 holders are for cigarettes and matches while the bottom part serves as an ashtray. One side is ribbed to use for striking matches. There is one chip with some paint flaking in the front on the edge of the ashtray. There are 2 chips on the edge of the basket that holds one of the barrels. Another small chip on the edge of the other barrel. There are a number of very small flee bites here and there as well as some loss of paint in certain places. Especially on the hair and face. Approx. 5 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 5 1/4" It is clearly incised on the bottom 8820 38. Also. There is the painted number 120 which I believe would identify the person who painted it in the factory.

This is a great Art Nouveau style smokers tray made by Bradley and Hubbard. Depicting a man smoking a long stem pipe. It is a slightly grainy recast bronze, and the patina is lovely. Antique victorian mahogany smokers cabinet. Storage display cabinet. Great looking cabinet with two door on the top and a drawer on the bottom. The cabinet has been lined with a decorative paper. Condition for age and use is very good. Some marks and does have a split in the wood on the top but does not effect the cabinet adds vintage to it and it is only slight. This unique example of early tobacciana has a hollow interior ash receptical, accessed thru a circular opening on one side, an opposite external tubular recess for match storage on the other side, a match strike-patch on the top. The base is marked"C. Vickery, To The Queen, 181& 183 Regent St. W. appropriate sterling silver stamps are also displayed, as shown in the photos, both on the base& the top. Quality Arts and Crafts Oak Smokers Cabinet Antique Box With SECRET DRAW! Description Please scroll down for additional pictures. This is a beautiful good quality smokers cabinet. Although it could be used for a number of other uses. The piece has a beautiful well carved floral display to the front panel. Which opens to reveal several draws used to store cigars and or cigarettes. Each draw has an ebonised wood handle. Above the draws is a pipe shelf and a lidded tobacco jar with a ceramic liner. Interestingly the piece is also made with a'secret' draw to the rear of the cabinet. Where you can store things that you wouldn't want others to find! I roughly date the piece to the early 20th century during the Arts and Crafts Movement. The piece measures 12.5" x 11" X 8.5" approximately. Condition wise. The piece is in ... morelovely condition for it's age. There is a split at a joint on the top of the cabinet where the wood has expanded over time. I am also unsure if the ceramic liner in the tobacco jar is original as it is a little small and loose. It also has a chip to the bottom of it. The piece retains its original key and locking mechanism, although the lock can be a little stiff at times and must be lined up exactly in order to lock. International buyers: I am UK based.
