Honda E 2500 Vintage quiet power 12v 110v generator 5.5HP FuelSaving efficienct
As is for parts or a tune up. Never tried starting it. Been sitting in covered barn for 15+¬years. It has two standard 120 volt AC grounded outlets on a 25 amp breaker. It has a voltmeter and adjustable voltage setting where you can fine tune the voltage from 110- 130 volts. It also has 12 volt DC hookups rated at 8 amps(15 amp fuse) And they can be used while powering something else on 120 volts. It has a 2.4 gallon fuel tank with nice motorcyle style fuel cap and fuel strainer under the cap. These generators were made in the late 70s- early 80's. Honda quality all the way through. Heavy duty everything(why it weighs 141 lbs) The G66 engine is overkill for this generator. It was rated 8 hp back then. But it would be about 12- 13 hp the way they rate engine horsepower these days. It's quieter than most you see on the marlket ... morebut heavy as heck. I will offer local pick-up to the right buyer that is paid full and willing to meet either in Long Beach,CA or if closer to buyers location up North near Gorman,CA. This is a 5.5HP Tecumseh out of a 2009 Toro single stage model 38583/29000 serial. We all know about Tecumseh's problems with these later years 4 strokes. This engine has very few hours on it but hunts badly. Starts and runs right away/Even blows snow. Just typical lean carb/valve guide issues. Motor last ran in November.
