Got this along with some other stuff I really need/wanted but dont really have any use for something like this. Reported to be working when removed from service but I dont know enough about this equipment to fully test it. At minimum, all items have been tested to power up. I did notice that the batt/overload light on one of the beltpacks stays lit when powered up. Not sure what that means operationally. Only other defect I noticed is that the tip of one of the antenna extensions is broken. Overall, the entire setup looks to be in nice condition. This intercom was previously used in an elementary school and when the county built a new elementary school this intercom was retired. I'm don't know how long this intercom control panel was used. But it probably has seen a lot of use. Tested for power only. When plugged in, there are beeps and static when some buttons are pushed or when some knobs are turned. I have no way of properly testing this unit, so I am selling it for parts or repair. For that reason, there are no returns on this item. 50-Switch BOGEN MCP 35A SBA225 Intercom Control Panel & 2 SBA 225 in Wood Case
This is a used item. And is an intercom once used in a grade school, before they upgraded the system. It powers up with no problems and with great sound, but the red light indicators for each room don't light up, I've researched this problem and is common for these models, so if you can deal without the light up effect from those little red lights, then this is the bargain for you. The wood frame is in excellent condition with no damage to any of the wood casing. The wooden piece on back was purchased without any screws, so is taped on, and other than that the front cover has only aged wear on the control panel paint, and still has old labels for classrooms which are easily removable and has a slider for you to easily insert your own labels.
