Black Hacker VHF Hunter RP38 Portable Transistor Radio 11" x 8" x 4" The AM/FM Hacker Hunter RP38 was introduced in 1969. It is a three waveband portable covering the Medium. Long and VHF(FM) bands. AM reception is from an internal ferrite rod and there is a 36" swivel base telescopic aerial for VHF. There is a separate perspex covered VHF tuner module. A special circuit adjusts the operating conditions correctly as battery volts decrease minimising distortion at low voltages and extending battery life. 1.5 Watts is available from the audio module feeding a large eliptical speaker and there is a rotary tone control. This radio was used as a scanner because it does NOT transmit. I bench tested the unit and the receiver works very well. But the PA doesn't put out any power. Relm WHS150 Radio and Charger VHF
Hello Up for sale is this Relm VHF radio and charger that plugs into the battery. I am including a battery but it is not very good but will power the radio up and I could test it on channel 1 and it works fine. It is from a local fire department and I am selling them to try and make some money for them. The antenna rubber is cracked but receives fine. I don't know much about these radios. I believe it is a 16 channel radio that's how many channels are in it now. If you have questions just ask. Don't bid unless you plan on buying.
