I make sure they power up, clean them and install the 16 pin jumper plug. Includes short power cord, and 16 pin accessory connector. Reprogram them and you are on the air. This is a Motorola Radius 2 way radio. It has 2 microphones. I touched the wires to my car battery and it turns on. I cycled it through 5 channels. 1,2,3,4,5, and then it repeats. I keyed the microphone and the Tx/Bsy light came on. It has an antenna base but the antenna does not have a wire, just the base. Didn't think to check it with the other microphone, checked it with the black microphone. Does not have the volume knob. The stub turns it on, but there should be a larger knob on there. There was another seller on ebay selling this same model number radio- he said"This is a Motorola M208 Radius 40 watt 8 channel VHF 136 to 174 mhz mobile model D43LRA77A5BK. 8 channels on VHF with PL an DPL tones.
