Still a current model Kenwwod and not aware of any flaws. There are no dings, dents, scratches, etc. and the readout is complete and nice and bright. This unit was reconditioned by A-beep shop in Chicago and had the audio board and speaker changed out. No microphone or assessories in this sale. The transceiver can be used as a receive scanner. And it will beat any such scanner on the market in terms of performance and speed of scan. I got this many years ago with the idea of working satellites but never followed through with the antenna system. Instead I have used it for 6 meter SSB and 2 meter FM. I never used the Satellite function so I don't know if it works. All bands transmit and receive. The tone board is not Yaesu but works OK. For sale is an old erector set. Likely from 1930s. Comes with original red erector set box with dovetail joints. Inset metal handles on either side. Box contains many. Many pieces of erector set, too many to list here, but please view the pictures to see! Box is in pretty fair condition. Structurally sound although there is a little crack on the bottom by a nail, hinges good, handles good, discolored& stained inside& I am not sure if the bottom is original or not.seems a bit primitive compared to the rest of the box which is very nicely made. Top is discolored although you can still make out the Erector set wording. Also includes gilbert reversing electric motor& gear box. Plus a second gear box that was attached to a motor that was corroded away& had to be discarded. Unfortunately. Plugged in motor& it did not turn on.however ... morecord looks pretty bad, may just need rewiring, hopefully something simple. Pieces were actually in two very old boxes. And are being sold combined, looks like several old sets. Also includes 1938 published manual which has tons of project ideas& plans. Manual is in pretty fair condition. A few pages have some rips which have been taped& are discolored. Most pieces seem in good to fair condition. A few have some rust on them. Used Dynamatic Adjusto speed motor and clutch. Motor is 230/460-3PH-60 Hz. Clutch is 45vdc at 2.96 amps and unit includes 90VDC friction brake. Timing pulley can be removed before shipment is required. 1710 output RPMs. This is less than the motor RPM because eddy current clutches require slip to generate torque. The unit will provide the full 7.5 HP at the stated 1710 RPM. Unit was connected and started. DC power supply to the clutch and it engaged and moved the output as expected. the tach was measured and worked as expected with a 50.5VAC reading at top speed. The brake was not checked. Customer to arrange all shipping. Unit is available for loading during normal working hours. It will be skidded but will not be stackable. I do not have exact weight but should be around 250 lbs. Fork lift is available.
