General Lee 10 Meter Mobile Amateur Radio with AM/FM& PA Modes. 5 Bands and 240 Channels. Everyone that I talk to on it. Tells me that this radio screams. And everything works exactly as it should. It appears that the small blemishes on the front of the radio is just the clear protective coating for the front of the radio pealing on the edges. In any regard. If you wish it to look brand new, there are some eBay sellers that have new face plates for this radio for about 20 bucks. Comes with an old Galaxy stock mic that works. I lost the power cord so it does not come with a power cord. It uses the standard Cobra style 3 pin plug for power. When I pressed and released the button on the handset. It made the blip of static that you would expect. Listed below is a description of what is included in my alignment procedure(not all steps apply to every radio. Ie. ssb is not tuned in a am only radio) I go well above and beyond doing a simple factory alignment and check to make sure everything is within specs. I do not rush my work and it takes as much time as it takes. This is not a 15 minute tune up at the local hack shop. I on average spend several hours on each radio I work on. The radios I usually work on are 30+ years old so the extra attention to detail is called for. I enjoy working on old radios and have made my goal in life to save the old radios! Here is a list of what a restoration from me includes. Disassemble microphone. Check wiring, clean PTT switch, clean mic housing and cord. Radio cleaned inside and out to include removal and scrubbing of all knobs. Any screws with stripped heads replaced, originals repainted if needed. Any cosmetic flaws are repaired if possible, polishing, buffing, etc. All solder joints are checked under magnification and resoldered with 3% silver solder if faulty joints are found.
