Under-the-dash mount, 148-155 MHz( band split(not quite sure of the exact band split) Two(2) frequency crystal controlled radio, comes with one(1) single transmit and receive crystals on 153.500 MHz. Great for Amatuer APRS! Could be converted to the 144-148 MHz Amateur Band for APRS on 144.39 MHz. THis radio has a bandwidth of 1 MHz. So it will not cover theentire 2 meter band. Additionally, rgus radiuo was order at 153.500 MHz, so retuneing this radio to the APRS frequency of 144.39 MHz is a move of over 9 MHz, so some of the tuning coils may not peak, but run out of the coil. This would require cangeing some surface mount capacitors, so the proper de-soldering and soldering tolls are highly recommended. Decibel Products DB201 Ground Plane Antenna for Commercial or Amateur Radio!!!
Now up for bid is a Decibel Products DB201 Ground Plane Omni Antenna for Commercial or Amateur Radio. These antennas were constructed for a specific range of frequencies from 30 to 512 MHz. These heavy duty commercial antennas were generally ordered for a specific frequency and were cut at the factory for the lowest VSWR and shipped ready to assemble and mount. The radiator assembly is the folded monopole design and sits in an epoxy head and base to which 4 horizontal radiators were added. This antenna was cut and assembled for a 6 meter ham radio beacon and the dimensions are roughly cut for 49 to 50 MHz. The radials are cut for a frequency above 6 meters. But this may be the best match for the low end of 6 meters in the beacon frequency sub band. The radiator assembly measures 56.75 inches which puts it at around 49.2 mhz. And the radials ... moremeasure about 56 inches which puts them at around 66 MHz. The entire unit should load up nicely near the bottom of the 6 meter amateur band. Everything is in good shape- the radials are solid aluminum and have some bends, but nothing that would affect performance. I’ll let the winning bidder straighten them! The shipping on this item may be tricky since the entire array will only come down to about 6 feet. Fedex Ground will be the best method of shipping since the USPS charges an outrageous surcharge for boxes of this length. Of course, local pickup is possible and saves all shipping charges. Kenwood Ham Radio Equipment Sign Lighted Commercial Advertising Sign
This is a working lighted commercial Kenwood Ham Equipment Sign. I have listed it as used. But it is in excellent condition, and was in the original box which was falling apart. It has a few minor scuffs which I ccouldn't get to show in the pictures. It came from a Ham shop that closed years ago. I was told it was never used and the condition leads me to believe that to be true. The sign measures 51 3/16" long x 6" high x about 4" wide. It is regular 115V with cord. Two hooks(removed for shipping but included) are used to hang from ceiling or it does have holes to directly mount it to the wall. Please understand that although I am shipping with the flourescent tube installed, taped in place, and carefully surrounded with foam packing, I will not replace the tube if it breaks in shipping. So, bid accordingly on the sign ... morew/o the tube, but it will be included in the shipment. The tube is a standard 40 watt 48" flourescent tube. Part number on the tube coming with the sign is Toshiba#FL40SD. I always thought it would look great hanging over your home radio station! Thanks for looking! Hi. For sale here is a nice working Kenwood TK-840 commercial UHF radio. It covers 450-470 MHz, does 25 watts and has a nice alpha-numeric display. These make great GMRS radios. The radio comes with the mic and power cord. The radio will be in good cosmetic and working condition. As with all used radio equipment though, the radios is sold as is with no warranty.
