The rollers were restored at some point and works great. The ink pan turns every time the handle is pulled. It measures 19" long, 15" high and 10" wide. It's ready to go and start printing, works good. Comes with some ink, the ink roller and some type and type holder. The ink is used. This was used for making retail tags. Heidelberg Windmill 10x15- Great for parts or repair
This is a truly heartbreaking story: I bought a beautiful 10x15 Heidelberg Windmill off eBay a few months ago and it was picked up by Estes-Express transit company. Estes damaged the press en route from Indiana to my home in Georgia. The press was dropped when it was unloaded at the destination terminal and there is a piece of the machine which is broken. The press is in great condition otherwise; however. It will need a lot of work to get it to run properly. This press needs some work before it will operate. I have attached pictures of what the press looked like when it was on eBay as well as pictures of the transit process- there’s no way for me to know if anything else is damaged beyond the obvious broken pieces of cast iron. This Heidelberg is wired for a standard 110V outlet so it can be used in your garage, shop, etc. After speaking ... morewith a few specialist in my area, it’s been pretty clear that I would end up spending more than I can at this moment on repairing it. This press is great for parts and could be used again, if the right repairman worked on it. Challenge Platen Printing Press Letterpress
Challenge platen press I bought it a few years ago and while attempting to move it ourselves. It fell off the truck and was damaged. The bar that holds the flywheel on is broken. As well as the arm that holds the wooden shelf on the front, and the lever on the side. In addition to the damage from falling off the truck, one of the holders for the rollers is broken, and the roller that is on there needs to be replaced as well. I havent had the time or money to look into repairing it. And it has just been sitting in the garage under plastic. Local pick up only. It is extremely heavy and you will need at least a few people and a truck to pick it up. But an engine hoist would be best if you have it.

It has 4 patented dates on the side dating May 26.1886/ Apl 12,1887/ March12 1889& Jan,1890 which is rare.There is also a stamped date on the handle May 26 1886. Vintage Crftsman Superior Like Victor Tabletop Letter Printing Press commercial
All reasonable offers will be considered. This Rare"Superior" presses appear to be copies of presses made by the Victor Press Company. Which was absorbed by Kelsey Company in the early 20th Century. This will be dismantled and shipped in two separate boxes due to its weight this item weighs over 160 lbs Craftsmen Machinery Company produced presses very similar to the most popular presses of the small-press era. In fact. They were nearly identical copies. Furthermore, Craftsmen seems to have used the original Sigwalt, Caxton, Golding, Victor and other defunct manufacturer's presses as the casting patterns for the presses shown in this 1955 catalog. A comparison of an original Victor Press Company 4x6 press in our collection with the Craftsmen 4x6"Victory" press shown below shows a 1% difference in size. 1% is the amount ... moreof shrinkage normally associated with cast-iron production. To us. This confirms the theory that Craftsmen presses are direct copies of other popular presses from the turn of the century. Here are 2 vintage Hamilton Letterpress Trays. Both have 89 compartments. All intact. They each measure 16.5" x 32" The interior of the drawers look really good, with no broken compartments, some dirt. The exteriors show chipping paint and rusty handles but otherwise are tight and good considering age and use. These make great shadow boxes for miniature collectibles.

It does not include anything else just what you see in the pictures which is the letterpress.The brackets holding it together the base. Just like in the pictures. What you see is what you get. AS IS. You are bidding on THE EXCELSIOR 5 X 8 TABLE TOP PRINTING PRESS I will say right off the bat that I know very little about presses. That being said. I believe all the essential pieces are there. This unit is mounted on a piece of wood and I can only assume that the Model number is on the bottom The only other markings I can find are pictured which are the patented dates beginning with April 6 1803 in the USA, also listing England, France& Germany. Nice fully working 13 x 19 Kluge die cutter with Kluge feed. The chase that is on it currently is 12 x 18 but it can easily handle the larger chase. Unit only comes with the one chase. It has a newer variable control speed unit. Happy to demonstrate unit and we will load onto a pallet at no extra charge and load onto a truck. We have a forklift and loading dock.
